Welcome again, weary traveler. Take my hand and let us now travel back to the time that many considered to have been Bionicle's height. Take my hand and let us journey back to 2003, the days of the Toa Nuva, Bohrok-Kal, Rahkshi, and the quest for the Toa of Light. Take my hand and let us travel back to "Bionicle: Mata Nui Online Game 2".

i LOVED this game. the atmosphere and sense of loneliness/discovery and lore were so enveloping to me as a kid
I remember playing this when I was younger. It's one of those memories "I could have sworn the graphics and gameplay was different" but this brings back memories.
i remember playing this game as a kid and being slightly scared by the atmosphere but also fascinated by it, i also remmeber not being able to figure out how to cross the bridge, i was very young.
I can't believe I found this game again I was trying so hard to remember this classic

+darkfury45 Aye, that happened to me when I first played the game online, back in 2003, kept getting some kind of red dot in the middle of the screen that prevented me from leaving Ga-Koro... e. e Soooooooo...regarding the issues that you're having, have you tried using EVERY version of the game, on the site? O. o Based on your computer, some versions might end up being buggier than others, so the issues that you have with one version may not carry on to others. jesseanderson29 I just enter an area and Hahli is either giant or dead center at the bottom and can't move. My last time with the bug is when I went to change speed and Hahli was swimming TOWARDS the screen, rather than towards the mahri.
***** Hmm...can't say that I've encountered that bug before, usually only get the REALLY weird bugs when I decide to mess around with cheats/dramatically modify stats/give myself 99 of every item. xD Have you tried EVERY version of the game on the site? O:

25:00 THE HISTORY OF KOLHII PART 4
During the time of the bohrok swarms, the game evolved into what is now called kolhii. Many attribute this changing of the game to an incident that occurred during the bohrok invasion of ga-koro, when hewkii used a ga-matoran fishing staff to save macku from a falling rock. Since then, players have adopted the use of the kolhii stick and the rules have been changed to accommodate it.

No matter how hard I tried, I was never able to craft a kohlii stick before nokama returned.

My computer was SO SLOW when I played this as a kid back in the day. Depressing to know the game plays significantly faster than I was led on to believe.
I played the first Mata Nui game and I absolutely loved it! I tried to play this one but my goddamn computer was so outdated, it took FOREVER to load anything on this game. I got so frustrated that I gave up trying to play, so I never finished it 😢

The only part of the game that feels like a proper game. Once you experience everything in ga koro the other koros feel rather devoid of content, sadly. Replayed the ga koro area a ton though

Yo also quick question. I haven't played this game and forever and completely forgot who to go to sell things to to get widgets. Is there anyone in Ga-Koro I can sell things to?
***** Although they won't accept EVERYTHING in your bag, such as cowrie shells and seaweed, you can sell some things to Okoth the trader. Her hut is the one with the wooden sign that is south of the main square, but north of the Kohli field. She sells the cheapest Air Bladders on the island for the price of 5 widgets, as compared to other traders that sell the same item for 10 widgets. You will need air bladders when both training Speed in the waters near Ga-Koro and when retrieving items from the flooded Great Mine in Onu-Koro.
jesseanderson29 Oh I actually found it lol. I just needed to sell these two things of rigging and all this sailcloth I made. I made bank though, so now I can get plenty of bladders.
jesseanderson29 Also, one last thing. Do you know how long it takes for the vendor in Ga-Koro to get supplies? I know she sells bladders for 5 widgets less.

I don't remember much, but I do remember always buying my air bladders in Ga-Koro (where they are cheap) and selling my Rigging in Onu-Koro (where I got a lot more money than selling it to Mark the sailor).
I also remember it taking over an hour of dedicated harakeke plant hacking to conjure up enough flax to make the rope and sailcloth I needed. Just running back and forth all the way to the beach and all the way back to Hahli's hut. Obviously I got some bamboo too, which I turned into poles and took with me to Onu-koro as well.
I could never get this game to work. Always crashed on me.
How do you play in this resolution, widescreen?
+Michael Dovlatian Weeeeeeeeeell...the game's not being played in widescreen so much as it is being edited to fit into that aspect ratio...it's the only way to avoid those annoying black bars from showing up on the side of the video... >.>
