Dude same 🤣🤣 the scary music absolutely terrified me when I was little but I loved this game. I've been searching for it forever!
Finally I found it, this took me years to uncover and was way more obscure than I thought.
This game creeped the shit out of me as a kid, I was very very young like 3 or 4 years old when this dropped so it seemed like a repressed memory. Naturally being that young I couldn't read very well either, so I thought it was just a cool open-world driving simulator and stumbling into those freaky NPCs who move and speak really unnaturally was unexpected. It almost makes it seem like the first horror game I ever played lol.
Also if you get the chance can you get a video showing a game over through getting caught?

I remember playing this a few times as a kid. The atmosphere, the music, and the way the people would run scared the absolute unholy bajeezus out of me. This was seriously creepy as hell.

I’m relieved reading the comments that I wasn’t the only one scared by this game as a child. Only in my case, I never even completed the first mission because of it. I chickened out every time I tried to play it. 😂
It’s hilarious thinking of it today, because I don’t believe this was ever meant to be a horror game, but it had the atmosphere of one nonetheless, at least to a young mind!
I see the game isn’t very robust, though, with how many times you’re refreshing it due to it breaking. lol
the game is probably breaking because unfortunately not all the assets have been saved.
and yeah, the spies freaked me out as a kid. the way they talked and moved was unsettling lol
I finally found the game from my childhood!! It doesn't look so ... attractive and cool as I remember it. :D
it took me a very long time to track this one down too lol. and yeah, the graphics arent as good as i remembered them but i kinda expected that when i found it since i remembered that it ran in a web browser.
I had many murky memories of this game. It’s really cool that you got it working and uploaded a video to share with us and help bring those memories back!

Remembering this game was like recalling a fever dream, if anyone is interested in horror games with a similar vibe check out Puppet Combo games, especially the Nun one

Just should mention this game works very well so far when using Flashpoint. If anyone can complete the game and record it, that would be awesome. I am too creeped out by the game to finish it. 😂

@@shade221 I know of no "complete" versions of the game but The Biomedia Project probably has as complete as any extant versions. Not sure about missing textures, etc., but I think Flash plays a default "loading" image if there is missing material. Chrome doesn't like Flash so perhaps try playing in Firefox or check out this like to fix Flash in Chrome: www.howtogeek.com/103292/how-to-fix-shockwave-flash-crashes-in-google-chrome/
Don't worry- there are no backwards clues in the spy-talk. I think I recorded a bunch of "lorem ipsum'-type words and reversed some of the vowels, keeping consonants forwards or else it sounds REALLY backwards! It is supposed to be a foreign language that you can't really make out.
I was working with Templar Studios at the time where we also made RoboHunter 1 ( using a proprietary 3D browser plug-in so it's lost to posterity) , Bionicle MNOG and other Lego games like Jack Stone.

@@shade221 Glad you have such nice memories of our work! RoboHunter (1) was a bit different than 2 and was one of my favorite games we worked on.
It was somewhat of an emulation of the programming interface for the MindStorms programmable Lego bricks. You would send the car in to a tiny entrance in an ancient Pyramid and navigate the hazards (pendulums, giant rotating gears...) by the way you programmed the vehicle. The goal was to bring back a special jewel. =)
