I agree with almost everything he said. At Iowa Caitlin's Iowa team didn't get the main NCAA trophy, but did come in a close second. However, I live in Iowa and have noticed that not getting that college trophy hasn't really hurt her popularity. Actually, I think it makes her more relatable and gives a good message to kids and everyone. It sort goes to "it's not about whether you win or lose, it's how you played the game." So, I hope Caitlin helps the Fever get a championship trophy, but I don't think it will affect her legend one way or another.
Two current players (outside of the Fever) come to mind as extending a warm helping hand in offer to CC as she navigated becoming a professional. Kelsey Plum and Sabrina. There’s clips of both talking about it. CC’s dad sent his thanks to KP and she said she remembered what it was like and just wanting to know someone is on your side and she knew CC would pass it on when the time came, and another clip similar of SI.
And CC was on three FIBA championship teams and was tourney MVP for the last one. So, the haters who claim she has NEVER won a championship don't have their facts straight....on purpose, of course.
Getting a Championship takes a team, not one person. Caitlins legacy or any other historical players doesn’t have to have a Championship to be the considered The best player. Great Legacy’s are about skill and character. Is the player at the highest skill level, what was the impact they make on their teams, and what have they done to improve and grow the sport. What has the player done for the communities in which they played. What have they done to improve the world impact. Basketball is a team sport. You can’t control the type of coach or the players you play with. Caitlin a set a hell of a foundation for her legacy to build on. 🌺🩷🏀
Caitlin Clark is great and has charisma as well! I don’t know understand people who think she is not charismatic. Here’s a game. Who is a HOF player of any sport with ZERO charisma. I’ll start. Troy Aikman.
Barry Sanders. But I see a lot of comments from women saying she is stand-offish. Well DUH - the entire league has made it CLEAR that they either do not like her.... or are AFRAID to show any positive overtures toward her. It is NATURAL for her to be hesitant because she doesn't know all of who are on her side. If she had many supporters, she would have named them. She only mentioned people connect3d to the Indiana Fever
The fact that she ONLY mentioned Tamika Catchings CONFIRMS everything we thought. As far as actual current players? It is almost exclusively been other WHITE players who also were targeted for being WW.... Plum, Sabrina, Sophie... and even then it was ONLY after she said NO veteran has taken her under their wing and given her advice.... unlike AR who has nearly the entire league publicly supporting her. Respect though to Jackie Young for looking out for CC when she untied her shoe.

Great comment!
Wow the CC show just finished it was a good show💪✊
I love how she has a framed photograph of her golden retriever (Bella) on the top shelf❤
Learned more about CC during this interview than any main stream sportscasting. It was a great interview!
I so appreciate that you don’t do click bait. It’s so frustrating on TH-cam.

So two other White guards? Cool
@@joeykremplewhat is wrong with you?
Thanx for pointing this out because most people think the opposite; makes me look at KP & SI differently😊
CC always a class act!!
Big Ten Tournament Championship 3 years running is pretty big, and Big Ten Conference champ 2022.

I am glad she didn’t have to mention the past players

Well Tamika's dad Harvey was a Sixer. I supported them. Harvey had the vibes of being a great person. The apple did not fall far from the tree.
