No and no. I don't know of any modern wireless headphones with a user-replaceable battery and I've reviewed at least 50 at this point...

No app for this model however u do get updates , I recently had a update , the app on line is for the mw07 and the mw08 , yes the hi8 have replacement batteries however the batteries used in the mw65 use a different class of batteries that last extremely long. The sound signature is very neutral yet bright. If you are looking for high end units with replacement batteries yes the h8 are also the psb headset from Canada that also make great speakers but those are more spacious sound signature like a being in a room listening to speakers as to having them on you ears .

i have the device for 2 years now. Unfortunately for some reason the internal cabling broke, they will fix it for starting minimum 150 euro :-(

How did the internal cable break? Seems like a manufacturing defect if you ask me. Maybe you can contact your credit card company to talk about what kind of warranty they extend to purchases?

@@AskDaveTaylor maybe a bit late, but my MH40s had a very similar issue.
I had used them for the commute at first but began using them for work when I got into Finance. The right side was the first to go, and the left side was hanging in there but was choppy at times.
sometimes the right side would pop back in, but eventually they gave out altogether.
It could be the wiring isn't up to par with the rest of the materials used in housing and wrapping.
Contacted the support email quite some time ago, and I have yet to see a response.
STELLAR set of cans for the year they lasted, unfortunate the way the relationship ended though.

That stinks. I would reach out again and I hope you can find a way to repair them!

@@AskDaveTaylor I tried via a technicisn via the shop i bought it, but there is a special cable containing multiple smaller cables for the mics and buttons. Also some parts have to be replaced I think, if you want to get the inner cable out at all. Anyway got myself a b&o H95, which is much nicer.

@@AskDaveTaylor I have no exact answer to that to my impression it was totally random. Nothing weird happened as far as I can remember. If you wiggle the band a bit it sometimes works if you don't move your head x)
