Quick and slick and affordable build. It looks gooood going down the road. A good example of a build a young person or someone on a budget might do. You definitely improved the look of it without a doubt. They dont have to be all shiny and perfect to be awesome. I would love to do a build like that. You should be proud of it. She’s like a refined Rat rod (sort of) lol. A video of her with the Triumph in the back would be cool to see too. Amazing video Jolene you make us feel like we are there with you guys enjoying your passion. A BIG thumbs up in my book, you nailed it !!!
Very funny that is way beyond a “young person’s build” Jag roof, mohair interior, custom trunk and piecing all the tear body together makes it one step beyond. Years ago in the late eighties parked next to my stock dresser on main street Daytona bike week was a custom chopper. Painted on the tank it said $20,000.00 bike $20.00 paint job.
my dad had 1938 Ford 4 door I remember as a kid back in about 1960 i would have been 4 years old. it never ran just sat in the shed and I can clearly remember the flat head and those almond shaped head lights When you were thinking of cutting it up the sedan coupe ,never dreamed it could look like this good job . Keep up the good videos, and I like the tours you take with the crew, we get to see beautiful CANADA. cheers from Australia and God Bless
I recall when you had the car running last you didn't shut the car off I recall that because several folks made a point of it in the comments. I love the stance of this car I personally would rather see it painted and a head liner installed and the engine cleaned up! I think that would make the car look a whole lot better. but at the same time I know exactly where your coming from. cheers Good overall Job on the customization of this car. I call this a Win win in my book...for the Hiltz Team.
Doug is a real stud... seriously... casually holding a hood up, whilst working on the fuel system... dude...👍👍yet another reason why I recommend your channels Oh man, another great 'troubleshooting' episode Chad, Fina ,Doug, and of course Jolene, who captures it all for us too see! Always inspirational, thank you!
Well, I will eat crow, I know that after you started the bike hauler build, that I would no longer watch your post. Well I guess I lied cause I could not help myself a watched all the way. Chad you did it again you built a great hot rod I love this car. You and Jolene have a great relationship and listen to each others suggestions and build great cars from your own minds. We all have opinions and think we are right , but I'm looking at a beautiful peace of art, and it is how Henry Ford should have done it. As soon as I can find the truck I'm looking for, everything g I have learned from watching you, I will hopefully be able to build my dream. Thanks Chad and Jolene
When you first started I was not sure if I liked it or not ,the finished product sure looks good. Great job Chad. Everyone who worked on it should be proud. Jolene did her usual good job of filming so we could see the build at every step. Great entertainment and teaching by all, even for an 81 year young man who loves old cars.
Hey Brad, the car is 1000% better in my humble opinion. I like the more aggressive lines and stance. I know you didn't want to take it too far down the road customizing it I give you a lot of credit because you took a horrible looking sedan and transformed it into a very cool coupe with an awesome look. I've been watching your videos for quite some time now and like your get down and gritty work ethic. You don't appear to be a lazy bones at all. I can't wait to see the T bird finished as well as the Bugatti. God bless and keep up the good videos.
The moment in the workshop when you have to move The Car by hand I was really in love with this Project, at that moment I saw the real Form next to you. Its reminds me of the Porsche Speedster also the wheels look like old 356 wheels and my dad in has an old big BMW 8 cilinder (328?) and youre car has also that looks, but think about that those kind of cars set you back at least $ 50.000,00 and you make a super more Special Car off what you you find around youre workshop, You and Jolene who filmed everything with a lot of patience, are a big insperation!!!!!
Hello from a Norwegian living in Sweden. What I like about your channel is that you do work, most.. or many of us can do at home. Great guidance trough the process and very inspiring. Not everything you buildt is everyones cup of tea but thats ok. The 38 came out great.and if you are BOTH a hot rodder and a biker, this is superb. Me personally would have sloped the back portion of the roof more for that sleek look and pied it out so the roof line follows the side window frames but it works as is :)
My take on this build. Remember that show "The Walton's". A big poor family getting by in rual Virginia, USA During and after the great depression from 1933 to 1946. One of the kids took an interest in automobiles. He'd cobble together what was available, and make due whith what little they had. This Bad Chad Budget Build reminds me of, and is a nod to, that Era of auto building. Cutting up a sedan to make a farm truck or even a tractor was not unheard of. Cut, weld, slap on some house paint, then wait in line for your gas ration, ... IF... you had gas money, which many did not.
I always appreciate what you do to your cars this one with the cab you put on it makes it one bad buggy i love it for real only if it was mine i would put a super nice paint job on it the bottom fire engine red top pearl white with a set of center line wheels leave the color inside for now but later have the interior leather brown this is it was mine that is how much i love it Chad thank you for sharing with me keep them videos coming you and Jolene are two great people happy new year's.
Chads visions always come thru , makes me want to start new dreams at 73 years old . Love the look of the car . I’ll never quit watching . Doesn’t Clark get a coffee nice job
First of all, I love the Moto Hauler. I could do without so many louvers, but that is what you wanted. I think the louvers on the hood are perfect, the others I could do without. My opinion is only my preference. But it is such a nice car, and you did such an amazing job. But why wouldn't you take the time to prepare the body and spray it. It would look awesome painted. Just my two cents. Love you guys anyway. 😃 WoW... Once you got it outside in the light and on the road it looked absolute gorgeous. Thumbs up Amigo. You are a true craftsman. I took a screen shot at 19:28. That is my new wallpaper. NIIICE!!!
I was a little angry when you cut the roof off. Now I am really impressed with your mind eye and going to completion. I love everything about this car and I am inspired. Drive it and be proud. Thanks for another great video series.
Hey bad Chad I've been doing astrology since the '70s and I knew you were a Virgo I just checked it out I was going to ask you but it said you were born August 31st and sure enough that's a Virgo Virgos unknown to be very meticulous and analytical an artistically creative and explains what you do That's awesome if you have any questions about the sign Virgo you don't have to believe but when I'm done talking to you you will usually your favorite color is green too
That car is cool I wish it had the tops rust removed and painted white . That is just me . Thanks for fun watching you, I never new that car would be so cool looking..
There's no shame, it is what Chad and Jolene like to create, they do a great job at that... please post the link for your channel so we can see your work 🤷♂️
Old cars are so much fun You have to look at them as an adventure Everytime you drive one . Example my wife and I wanted to drive our old VW beetle to town and the brake light switch wasn't working . So I hooked my hand held start button to the wires and my wife would push it to get brake lights all though town . We laughed like two little kids for the whole ride . Cars to us are to enjoy and not worship. Nice job everyone . Let's chop on something new 😎👍
Hi Chad Looks great! One suggestion to have your trunk lid in two pieces so when you have the bike on the back you can put each piece either side of the bike out of sight. Love you videos mate !👍
Nice job. I would paint the top though, it would change the look for the better. Overall it's a real cool car. No wait that white top is wrong for it, really paint it green or maybe black.
Nice call on leaving the original pain and doing a touchup, that really bodes well on a budget build for the common man. Excellent job! Its a sensational driver/rod.
Would rust even quicker here, looks just like a bad paint job, or a rust bucket. Needs a complete new paint job but Chad never listens. His car, does what he wants, loves rust.
I really like the build. The only thing I would like to see done differently is to put a complete paint job on it. I'd like the same colors but with new paint. Great job to the whole crew.
Brother you did an excellent job on this car. I love the profile of it with the chop and the jag roof. Thanks for the journey on this build and cant wait for the next one to begin. But it know it will be a good one!!!
What a different car it turned out to be it looks great. A suggestion I would like to see I your new garage is a large 5' picture of the original sedan hanging up on the wall behind this neat completed coupe. It would even look great at a car show. Make it to fold up and haul it in the trunk. Great job, by all.
Chad I understand the rust spots and paint patina but really, you should fix the damaged left side curtain it looks as if there had been an explosion in the engine room. Nice lines, cool. Jolene, you have the patience of a Nun, believe me. Bud
i must say at the start i had doubts as the work went on each turn of the road it got better i like every thing about it as a old man it would be cool to drive it around town and all the looks your can get great job THE BAD MAN CHAD !!! THANKS for letting us in to your life work
How nice to see the car transform into such a good shape. But I still believe that the stains on the car, body and roof should be cleaned and brushpainted in the same color as the part. Anyway, the car looks as if the owner already tried to make some paint repairs, which are very nice. Why not do the same with the stains!
Well, I wasn't sure where you were going with that 38. To find one like it was, it was a real find. I thought after you cut the roof off was a bad start but, I was wrong. Chad, I really like it. I should have never doubted you. I bow to you sir. Lets see what the next car will be.
Great build Chad . Awesome 👏

Ya, Doug's a cool Cat.
it’s more hilarious to watch Doug work on the fuel system now that you mention that 🤣
Very cool ride

The unpainted roof looks a bit odd ..🤔
Dude that why they call it patina duh 🙄
Just the roof ?
Awe man...@marktuyet
I like the roof looks great!
put some cream paint on it, it'll look fine.
Super cool well done! Ending the year with a bang 🎉🎉🎉
Really like it.

I really like this car since it is rolling .

the chop, the stance, and the louvers look sweet. i can only imagine how much fun it is to drive.
I also had my doubts. Yes, I would use that green all over, but now I love it! 😮
Nice Job Joline. How bout showing before and after shots someday. This project rocks. Thanks to all involved to share it with all. Life is good. sorry
My take on this build.

The 38 sounds really nice!!!
Love it thanks for the build😊
Very cool. Great job everyone.

start on those dreams! not too late. . .unless you want to go into space or something like that. you'll just have to let that one go maybe,

You made it look way cooler , we enjoyed this build!
Bad ass little coupe, I would be proud to own that car. I would show it just as it is. Great job Chad and Jolene and the fellows! Be PROUD!!
Really love it ! Cheers from Belgium 🇧🇪
Glad you're happy but if you finished your work it would be a show stopper for all to enjoy.
Well done!!! Looks great going down the road.
Send it to the body shop and have it done up nice.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love how it turned out, back can be used for anything
There's no one else who'd build a car like this. Well done, Chad.
Sad what he did

Where does the license plate go Do you need those in Canada?

Came out great man. Love it. Would look great with some green rear wheel skirts! Congrats and looking forward to the next project
I wonder how much Chad paid for this car and what it is worth now?
I love what you done with it looks great 👍 👌 👏
Hi Chad
Looks great! One suggestion to have your trunk lid in two pieces so when you have the bike on the back you can put each piece either side of the bike out of sight. Love you videos mate !👍
I like it....nice job.
Looks great. I can't think of any better body lines .the roof and tail look great together.
Looks Sleek I like it good job Chad,
Great job. The chop looks like how I pictured it looking like. Nice door tops and garnish molding.
Looks very sharp. You did a nice job.
Turned out really beautiful and cool. Well done!
Nice job. I would paint the top though, it would change the look for the better. Overall it's a real cool car. No wait that white top is wrong for it, really paint it green or maybe black.
That was a great job !!!!
I wonder if "trunk lid" would look better painted. Think it would look more original, and fit aesthetically...
Yeah. Awesome build man. 👍🏆

I love it turned out killer bro thanks for sharing it with us 🤘🏼😎
Looks fantastic Chad.
A great old school hot rod with loads of patina.
Would love to have it in the UK.
Would rust even quicker here, looks just like a bad paint job, or a rust bucket. Needs a complete new paint job but Chad never listens. His car, does what he wants, loves rust.
Love the patchy paint followon as builda art too !
I wish you could make t-shirts of these finished cars like Cold War Motors.
Good idea! I’d like this colored graphic on a shirt for sure.
Thanks for the ride, well done!
Love it. 10x cooler, unique, and retains being an old school original Hot Rod!
That's cool! Looks great!
I really like the build. The only thing I would like to see done differently is to put a complete paint job on it. I'd like the same colors but with new paint. Great job to the whole crew.
Louvers on the roof might make things a bit tricky, depending on the weather.. 🌧️
Also no rear window?
Turned out beautiful

An off white top makes it look like a convertible, a green top, like a coupe.
Love the car and the finished result. Appreciate you and what you do.

Car looks awesome absolutely beautiful great job👍👍👍👍👍
Chad addicts. Looks better than I thought it would. Enjoyed the whole process. England 🇬🇧
