Because it's a fusion of my best subjects (science and phisics(and maby sometimes maths, electronics and even philosophie))
i am 12 and i really want to be a astronomer.like if you want to be a astronomer or is really in science
I'm also 12 and want to be an astronomer good luck!
Hriday Joshi good luck to you too fellow 12 year old :))
Whys everyone giving out their age?😂
My exact question lol
If you are enjoying you will not give your age but enjoys it
Idk. (Even tho I did it to lol)
Ikr?!
I know, it's crazy. I'm 50 a f I'd never ever admit to that online!
Fuck.
I want to be an astronomer and I am only 14 but my math is not great but I am still trying my best to catch up and reach my goal. It didn't help when my dad told me I couldn't do this and forced me to follow his business...
I want to become an Astromer when I grow up, but I'm not very skilled in math😥.
Should I still proceed my dream job?
Yess
Ya
Yes, you should. Just because you're not that skilled in math doesn't mean you won't become an astronomer. All that means is that you're just gonna have to work harder to become an astronomer.

I turn 16 in a month and I graduate form high school in two years, my parents are forcing me to pick a degree to go into and I’m thinking astronomy. So yeah, this year I’ll be a junior so I’ll be doing a bunch of college stuff. Wish me luck!
Sounds depressing... I like the night sky
exactly me
@@AstroRoxy me too . I feel like looking through a telescope and writing on paper and counting by yourself is wonderful
Yeah me too the thing that got me into astronomy I find it relaxing
I thought I was unique but everyone here has same goals and thinking
Heart breaking

Lmao it’s not that deep, if you’re only here because you want to be quirky, then leave because it actually takes a lot more to be an astronomer.
@@deed6141 nothing about being quirky I love the subject and that's what matters , but yes of course I'm slowly coming out of that bubble. Learning more....so that these things don't have an affect me...
You see I posted this 1 year ago
HOW U DOING NOW?
I used to hate physics but as soon as we started talking about radioactivity and radioactive isotopes it became 10x more interesting
I really felt a connection with space when i first saw jupiter and saturn trough my spotting scope, i saw europa, IO, ganymedes around jupiter, i saw the beautifull rings around saturn, pleaides next to venus, im saving money now for the 200p newtonian with goto, i hope to see alot more
I can’t wait till I grown into an adult because an Astronomer is what I’m going to be, I’m going to get in college and I’m going to study as hard as I can and try as best as I can, and really want to know what your college is so I can go it would be so awsome. I’m already studying right now in schoo, I’m a straight b and c student...I mean those are good grades but I still have way many years till I get in college but still you have a dream you chase it and capture it put it inside of you and then let it go and follow it!!!!👍🏻💫
Oooh, so familiar :) I'm studying astrophysics at the Ural Federal University, and even if I'm not a professional astronomer yet I still have to do the same things)
I hope you succeed!!
@@parmelar thank you :)
How’s it going with your field now?
I’m 12 and my dream job is anything astronomical, mainly astronomer
It’s so great to hear that some gen alpha’s have ambitions!! I’m a gen z and nowadays people I know would never even think about being an astronomer bc of the work
Sameeee I am 10 tho
Same! I also want to pursue a career in Astronomy or Astrophysics!
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I have a question I am bad at computer like coding etc would it effect if I majored in astronomy would theyteach me at univ as astronomy major how program everything on the computer does it has to do with names of stars like Meris for example in physcis 2 high school i took about temperature radiation and how that would effect the stars and black bodies..
you dont have to worry, just get good at it
I love space and things like that, I wanna know the details of the job :>
You are an great astronomer
I’m watching this because I love science and I’m doing a HUGE project for school and for my topic I chose astronomy plus I want to be one and study space
Im 14 and im really interesred in astronomy. Sadly im not good in english and i dont know if there is a astronomer job in my land. Yeah sorry my english is crap
It's pretty good to me! It sounds fluent. :)
Maybe you can save up, and then move somewhere else which offers you a job in astronomy.
Another problem is... im good in everything but only in math im completly bad. For some reason when my teacher explains me something i dont unterstand anything. When my father or friends explain me something i unterstand it. But it really sucks because it kinda sucks when i have to learn everything at home and not in the school. But in school i dont understand math :/
@@pazcal3k162 It's probably because you can stop and ask why this is this or whatever, but with teachers they go through everything in one go and don't pause.
I’m a Math major can I become an astronomer with my degree? Or like an astronomy related mathematician?
Its 10 years of math, physics, science, computer science, and alot of writing. 😅
1:38 You mention that you have to read newly released papers in your field, but how do you find the relevant ones?
I guess you'd assess the credibility, reliability and usefulness of it
this was great! I love looking thru telescopes though, so who are the people that get paid to look through telescopes??
What's the name of the music from 0:10 to 1:18? I've been trying to find it for days but haven't been able to
I am 14 and I want to be an astrophysicist and an astronomer. This video though me alot. Thank you.
do you have Tumblr?
Im 15 i really want to be astronomer, my mission is to excel at maths and physics
I have just been studying at highschool in Nepal. I am interested in Astro Physics but I couldnot find a Good college for Astro Physics here.. Now I am searching for A good college abroad . Please recommend me a good and Affordable college... Hoping for Reply 😊😊😊
Santosh Bhattarai Not a lot of universities offer the astronomy career, but you can study other things like programing or engineering and specialize on astronomy areas, where this people are needed a lot ;)
Study BSc or BE and then you can study astronomy in Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA)
Good luck then! I am also interested at taking astronomy as a major in the future but couldn't find any great colleges for it, that's why I will try hard to get a scholarship... I hope we both achieve our goal 😊
We're on the same page I guess
I also have just started highschool here in nepal and I aim to be a astro physicist
Instead of searchin for affordable price universities

I love space the study of the universe and the advancement in space technology
i do too its extremely interesting
Hi! I am actually extremely interested in working as an astrophysicist or electrical engineer. The funny thing is, I also love computer science! Would it be reasonable to double major in CS and astrophysics? Is that marketable? Or do you already have education with CS in the astrophysics major?
did it ever work out?
too much thinking but that’s why you gotta love it
Astronomy is the most beautiful of all sciences
Interesting video... What universities would you recommend to study astronomy?
Anton Joseph I thought you said universes haha
Try searching online
Whoever offers a Doctorate program in Physics. There aren't many of them.
I didn't know this was a video and since this has been posted, I have had the dream of being an astronomer. I am only 13, but I hope this video gives me more thought on what to look on for the future. I was wondering if you work for NASA or another place.
Thank you so much this video really helped me
Aw there’s too much smartness for me to do this 🥺
I am 12 and I Want to be an astronomer it is my dream, I am not too good at math but I am always reading about stars and science boocklets. For following my goal I have learn English (I talk spanish).
I'm 13 and I have a passion about the universe, galaxies, but, however, does it require to be extremely good at Math and how good exactly? I love the study of stars and how stars are formed and created. Will you still have time for our families?
How stars are formed is Cosmology not Astronomy
I want to be an astronomer but im afraid of the futur i have a feeling that i can be a one .one day but another feel that i cant i dont why but i dont have money to go to study astronomy in another country and hurts me alot pff
How old are u?

16 year old hoping to be an astrophysicist or astronomer! I’m starting college in September and I’ve picked maths and physics, wish me luck lol (rip) (:
Good luck!
+UKAstroNut can you please guide me regarding the difference between and Astronomy and Astrophysics at the graduate level?
Where can I work after the graduation in astronomy?
I’m 2 and I know I was born to be an astronomer, I just can’t wait for the opportunity to explore the field
you're 2? 😂
Space has made me Curious, now I am 14 years old and I feel like I've only scratched the surface of Astronomy and Astrophysics
So,
a lot of reading,
a lot of looking at screens,
a lot of running computer codes,
and of course,
a lot of writing.
What is better Physics or astronomy I would take a computer science as a another job because I want to make a game and the demand at computers are advancing
Is astronomy or astrophyics more phyics or math based job? which come in more handy
I want to be a astronomer too, but I wish I knew more people who are interested in becoming one as well
Astronomy is rare but it is added in branches of subjects
Does not his sound sound like Stewie front the family guy ?
I am an astronomy's student in Argentina and the things in this video are real haha. Astronomy 😍
what is the musci used at teh beggining of teh video?
Where do I find these papers? :)
majority of papers is in free access on arxiv.org, you can search for any field, not just astronomy
I am 12 and i love science
and i want to become a astronomer and i even sold my
favorit durt bike to buy a telescope thanks for this vid
I’m 13 and I want to do something with space it is so fascinating!😁
I am 13 and my aim is to become astronomer . I obiviously loved yhe video
What music is playing in the beginning?
Just found it myself :) Secret Conversations - Non Copyright Music [Ambient]
Wow, that was incredibly useful! I would love to interview you for some research I'm doing! Let me know
i wanna become a astronomer at nasa when im older but it would mean so much work and im not an us citizen. but if i do somehow get the job it would be worth it
dad hate me to become astronomer and also its sooo hard because im from Philippines.. I really love astronomy since im 3 yrs old... but my parents ruin all.... I dont know what is my future work, im only thinking all day if i want to be astronaut or i wanna be a astronomers... and also im weak in math and science except in astronomy.... i love it
I am good in math AND science buuut I suck at coding... I tried taking the course last year in 8th grade and let's just say it isnt really the thing for me. I had to stay after school countless times so I can raise my Mark's in that class. Honestly I find coding boring and looking through a telescope all day fun😂 is there a solution in between where I won't need coding, but still can be an astronomer?🥺
10 and I really want to be an astronomer!! I don’t know how often I’ll get to see family though but I’ve always been interested in space and always wanted to study stars and just space
