Neat to see the mix of plants in the refuge.

The mix of Mojave and Sonoran plant life was really spectacular. You just don't want to touch some of them...ouch! I was surprised at how green it was though and there were quite a few of them that were about to bloom. It was just a little too cold for them while we were there. About a week after we left, the flowers really started to go off. There was a lot of rain in the south-west this year so that made for some spectacular flower displays in the desert. Thanks for watching this video! ~ Mike

The KOFA really surprised me. I haven't spent much time exploring Arizona's back country but I'm hooked. I'm going to try to get back down there this winter. Thanks for watching! ~ Mike

Hi Kenny. Yes, this area was spectacular. It was our first time in the area and won't be our last. This place is huge and in this video, we barley scratched the surface. I'm glad to hear you appreciate it and thanks for joining us on the adventure! ~ Mike
