Doing mecha was one of the worst parts in my runs. Instantly ruined my potential pbs several times. It's my favorite strate, but also a tricky one.

I am learning how to do it! I did the first part and almost landed on the 2nd bubble but forgot to center the camera so my angle was messed up. You make really helpful tutorials!
Target Acquired is so oddly satisfying to get for some reason...
Tip to everyone: I have I new method of getting version 1.0.0 without a second switch, and you can keep your saves! First, get the 7 day free trial for Nintendo Switch Online. Then backup all of your saves to the new cloud feature, then factory reset your console. Once back on your switch, redownload all of your games and redownload your saves using the the cloud system. DO NOT update odyssey, and there you go. It worked for me, and now I can do this and FMS in my speedruns. I hope this helps, and I know that this doesn’t have to do much with his video.

Alex Skill If you backed them up on the cloud, they will be saved. Just make sure you log back in The the same Nintendo account after resetting
At least there’s still the older method where you transfer your profiles into a secondary switch, factory reset, and transfer your profiles back into the first switch. You’ll need another switch but at least it still saves splatoon

when u kill rango u dont have to get to the metal thing at topper u can also jump to them metal thing where rango was and beckflip up and then jump to topper and spinpound him instantly

Since I've never ran the other categories I know nothing about them! So probably not!

You can fix the awkward camera at a second try just by centering the camera while you stand in front of the mech
It's awkward in the sense that it's different than the first attempt so your muscle memory is all messed up on the second attempt! Good tip though!
Will there be anything else after the advanced torutials are done? Also do you recommend to join the speedrunning discord?
After I'm done with tutorials I'm not sure what I'll do! Maybe branch into some casual content a bit!

whenever i try to buffer a spinpound during a dive, i lose a lot of distance and often fall off. Is there a way to prevent this?

I had this problem too for a while, if you rotate the joystick quicker then you can start the buffer later which means you can hold forward on the dive for longer

i was doing this and it took a while, but i started going pretty well, it was kinda scuffed but i got up, got the first broodal down, then the second one, then when i ground pounded the third one for some reason it didn't break, then it launched my off and did its invincible phase where it runs around and when it finished i ground pounded the 3rd one and then couldn't get back to the mechabroodal and died :(

What kind of smaller strat guides will u cover? Lever skip? Madame Broode? And you should do EXPERT strats, like Lake reroute, bruncheon and meat skip, and maze clip, just to name a few.

i practice by going to the fight, and if i fail, dying and retrying :D
Id just get there again in another save file go coin grind before it for plenty of lives and just save before it and keep trying. Mario Odyssey isn't long at all if you're just trying to beat it and not complete it. I myself can beat it in less than 1:50 mins
