    Dude, I know you don't compete, but seriously, you should compete. At least just for the fun of the experience. I don't know much about the weightlifting community, but the powerlifting community is supportive and the meets are always fun. I'd assume it's the same in weightlifting.

    • @22ImHuge22
      @22ImHuge22 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He's competed in euro nationals and many other events. For now, at least according to his q/a interview with ATG(I believe that's who it was with), he said there's too much risk in injury competing all the time. So his main and only focus for now is getting strong since that's what matters in this sport. He did say he would compete again in the future though

  • @xbdaddyx
    @xbdaddyx 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Impeccable. Such good speed on the second pull. Phenomenal catch position and a nice explosive split stance for the jerk.
    I would probably separate the first and second pull by a split second and if I had your power I'd open the hips and really pull back into the lift. The bar path is coming pretty far out but your power is making the effect negligible. I'm assuming you snatch based on the way you do the second pull.

    Every time I see Clarence doing C&J, he always does this little " hop " movement with his Clean front rack position... What is the purpose of this ? And why does it look like _that_ when Clarence does it ? ( because whenever I see anyone else adjust the bar after a successful clean, they don't hop like him ) ... I hope you guys understand my question.
    e.g. : 0:09
    0:24
    0:38
    0:47
    etc...
