You really think some deadbeat poor fisherman made up this insane elaborate hoax about Jesus and then EVERYBODY believed them?
1. From the earliest Church, Jesus was considered unmarried. This is Tradition in the Catholic Church and carries equal weight as scripture. It is remotely possible Jesus was a widower theologically. But he was not married during His ministry. BTW, under first-century Jewish law, having sex with a single woman formed a marriage contract. Jesus did not have sex with Mary Magdalene. This is supported by the story of the wedding. Jesus was still with His mother. Had He married, He would have left her and "clung" to his wife as required by scripture. Jesus was still with his mother at the cross. Jews usually keep men and women separated. There are times and places for interaction, but they are/were far fewer than in contemporary society. The Samaritans were more open and more like modern Americans. Thus, the woman at the well was a Samaritan. Such a woman would have been driven out (or stoned) by the Jews while merely being ostracised in Samaria. In any case, there wasn't much opportunity for Jesus to be sexually active. 2. Worrying about how English translates names is great for those studying ancient languages, but not relevant from a faith perspective. 3. Everyone back in the day was a generalist by today's standards. The march of civilization can be seen as a march of specialization. Each advance left more people in more specialized jobs. Jesus also probably worked in the fields as a farmer and watched sheep as a shepherd at times. That's how life was for subsistence farmers. But when the community needed a carpenter, Jesus did that job.

Jesus telling people if they don't eat of his flesh and drink his own blood they cannot be partakers in his Kingdom is both a reference to his death, and it was also to get the people who were only looking for more food off of his back. The first time he said this was after the feeding of the 5000 the people had followed him across the See a gallery I believe and wanted to make him a king but it was only because he fed them miraculously, so he said unless you eat of my flesh and drink my blood you cannot take part in my Kingdom.. As for the last supper rember the passover was a reference to Jesus as he was the lamb of God the ultimate sacrifice.
He is a historical figure, you can look into the evidence yourself. I am not what you would call a religious person so I am not saying this due to emotional ties to this issue and historians in general refer to Jesus as a historical figure, many of which are atheists. If people who have read and studied the collection of evidence aren't reliable enough for you, you are more than free to research and discover this fact for yourself, but if even that doesn't convince you then nothing will because that would mean your bias and emotion towards this issue is too strong to overcome
I started to get confused at the start. It’s somewhat amusing that this video even takes the existence of a Jesus as a given. He didn’t exist.
He was an alien! "Ancient Aliens".
Every one should read the lost texts of the Bible. Jesus does some crazy stuff in those. They were kept out of the Bible because it made him look bad.
Blasphemy!
Nonsense. They were never in the Bible because there was no bible for them to be "in".
Jesus real name is 'Joshua Ben Josef'
I'm sure originally were 28 gospel's and only 4 gospel's survived.
There is no evidence that proves any of the supernatural claims made in the bible. In fact there is evidence that disproves many of those claims.
Name just ONE example....
Did Jesus just make an early version of eyedrops?
Yeah it was called spit did you hear him
Yes. The name "Bausch" was originally a German name for Jesus and "Lomb" was a German word for love so Bausch and Lomb means "Jesus love".
arguing about fairy stories.
😂😂😂
He definitely was walking around and alive once
*commenting on videos of 'fairy stories'*
0:52 jesus taught rabbi men at age 12. For 3 days. With out going home with out telling his mother, Which upset his mother .. so he was never a late bloomer
Knowing the Jewish clerical elite were crooked. They weren't fond of him. ✝️
Isn’t it surprising how the same numbers keep repeating themselves in gospel stories. The number 3 , 40, 12 , it’s almost like these stories are just theology and not actually real events.
Late bloomer isnt a bad thing
Just asking..... Is there anyone alive, at this time of our history, who knows the Real Truth??? Do you??🤷♀️
No one said you cannot have an imaginary friend 😊
There’s NO DENYING that “Jesus Christ” was real(he was a real actual person who walked this earth performing many “miracles” while practicing/preaching “love” and “care of the people”), the only thing in question is was he really THE messiah and of “GOD”…
About as many that know the "real" truth about Zeus, Thor, Gandalf, Santa Claus, Han Solo..............

Yeshua

Jesus uses his miracles to kill fig trees…why didn’t he pray for figs
Very interesting observations.😂
Jesus was a human like the rest of us, he only realized that god dwells within all of us and he tapped into that power
The reason there is a lot of confusion surrounding jesus' name is because it is God's name(he is a part of God and his Son) so it's sacred and it's not supposed to be spoken all willy nilly lol so yea we use other titles to speak of Him basically
I think you are thinking of YHWH
Theres nothing confusing about any of these. All have had much written about them.
Fyi; The "bible" is an intentional European misnomer, the "old testament" was known as the Tanakh for 700 years before the vatican changed its name, and attached a fictional Piso-Flavian pagan fairy tale to the back of a nonfiction book that is not a "religion." The two books do not belong together, and THE CREATOR does not condone any man made "religions" at all.
And the Creator's son is not just one person;
Shemot 4 (1445 BCE)
22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith YHWH, *Yisra'eyl (Devarim **28:15**-68) is My son, even My Firstborn:*
Yeshua Barabbas. Jesus was called Son of the Father. Barabbas means bar (son of) abbas (the father), so Pilate released Jesus, son of the Father instead of Jesus, son of the Father. Just sayin’.
So JC was a GC
I think the most ignored detail about jesus is that he probably never existed.
Probably a composite of up to 5 people over the 1'st century CE
Its a fact he existed.
You need to gets a educayshun dummy
@@luckymic7971how do you prove it’s a fact he existed?
@@Glasschin2.0@kenbollman2540 Id stop using the word “prove”… How can you “prove” Alexander the Great existed, or Julius Caesar, or Ghengis Khan. You believe in them don’t you? Aren’t those “historical facts” that you believe and follow everyday? My point is that there is no “proof” for the existence of Jesus Christ. However, there is a massive amount of Historical evidence and scriptural evidence. In fact, there is over 10x more documents and accounts written while Jesus was alive, than the Roman emperor (Tiberius) who ruled while Jesus was living in it. It’s literally THE ROMAN EMPEROR vs A poor carpenter who only preached for 3 years. Be logical here. How does that make sense to you? You really think some deadbeat poor fisherman made up this insane elaborate hoax about Jesus and then EVERYBODY believed them?

He was a Labourer on building sites then aye 👍
He was sctually a stone mason architect. A case of mistranslation.
Somethings of Jesus Christ is lost to time and history
Church carries equal weight as scripture.
Thanks for the laughs.
@@jamespohl-md2eq Not the Church, Ancient Church Tradition. If the Church has been doing something since the First Century, it's presumed the apostles got it right.

Communion is SYMBOLIC - a dinner prayer, blessing and remembrance with the bread representing the body and the wine representing the blood of Christ. It has nothing to do with literal cannibalism! 🙄 SMH
Oh yes it does, according to many sources, it was real, not make believe.
@@chickenlover657 Jesus gave them bread and said "Take, eat - this is my body...", then he gave them wine and said "Take, drink - this is my blood..." & "Do this in remembrance of me." NOWHERE did Jesus EVER cut off a chunk of his own flesh or drain his own blood into a cup and force his disciples to consume it!! Ridiculous to think he did!! Jesus was not a cannibal!!
@@LittleBlueOwl318 He doesn't have to cut squat, he's Jesus. He can manifest his flesh or his blood outside of his body. He's allegedly literally god, so he doesn't need resort to any primitive methods such as slicing and draining. THAT would be ridiculous.

Symbolic cannibalism and symbolic drinking of human blood....
Theism is humanities greatest failure...
Those dark age peasants can be forgiven for believing the madness of theism as they couldn't be educated. The elite and the churches ensured that, thinking that educated people would find the madness of theism to be exactly that.

The Christian Cannon is made up only of the books seen fit to be allowed by the Emperor of Rome and the chosen clergy. This was many years after the life of Jesus and thus not accurate. The man known as Jesus was an Essene and travelled to Asia, studied Buddhism and was renowned in India as a wise man.He was in fact an enlightened master. The "I am" refers to the one and we are all part of the one, we are all " I am" as there is nothing other than the one,all things are related and made from pure conscious energy and light.

Peta: Jesus isn't moral cause he doesn't care about Pigs
He's a mythical character so it's not people ignoring facts. It's just choosing the parts that make you feel better.

I theorise that Mary his mother was born a virgo.
Virgo was always known as "Virgo the Virgin" like "Leo the Lion" and "Gemini the Twins".
I bet he couldn't swim.
I started to get confused at the start. It’s been well known Jesus was around 30 when He started his ministry, so it’s not something that’s “ignored.” Then by the second one I thought, “Oh, here we go…” 😑
If anyone out there wants to learn about Jesus, I’d just encourage you to do proper research. Don’t accept anything you say or hear (including this comment) as truth. Research takes time. Ask yourself questions like, “Is this the consensus of most historical scholars?” Learning to filter out bad information about Jesus and the Bible takes time. But learning the truth about Him is life-changing.
He went into his ministry at age 30 because of his father Joseph's protection. Joseph was to protect Jesus. If Joseph was alive during Jesus going through his passion. He would have never let them scurge or crucify him.
