Fully straight piped 2000 f150 4.2 V6

It’s a 2000 f150 4.2 5 speed 2WD.
It’s fully straight piped, no catalytic converters and no muffler, y-pipe single side exit, stock size pipe.

Also I assume by “proper exhaust” you mean a setup with a muffler..I assume that comes from the myth that 4 stroke engines need and or make more power with back pressure.

Is this with or without cats. If so did you have any trouble with it throwing codes after getting rid of the o2 sensor 0:53 0: 1: 1:10 1:11

It has no catalytic converters, and I don’t even have the down stream o2 sensors at all so yes I have codes for them..if you keep the sensors you’ll still have codes but you don’t even need them as they aren’t responsible for fuel trim.
