God bless you, Fr. Chris for the comprehensive explanation of The Wedding at Cana. Beautiful. Thank you for the dear souls you introduced us to in this rich episode. I am so grateful. You work tirelessly to teach us all you've learned. God bless and keep your dear parents, family and all of the Marians.
Thank you fr Chris for always giving us different ways to experience the love of God through scriptures and real life experiences in people every day. Lord Jesus christ help us to have total trust in you.Mother Mary intercede for us. Blessings to all Mariana priest and brothers 🙏
This episode: Meaning of the Wedding at Cana, refreshes myself again and again of the many beautiful lessons in life worthy of admiration, hope and trust. The workings of Jesus Divine Love and Mercy manifested in each soul bring light, fulfilment, joy and deep faith in Him. Thanks to Zion and Giuseppe for the beautiful example they shared, strengthened by the spiritual readings of Fr. Joe Roesch and Bro Ben. And to you, Fr. Chris with your joyful enthusiasm together with your team, my heartfelt thanksgiving. God loves you all.
What a wonderful and BIBLICAL example of our Blessed Mother’s intercession for us. Thank you, Father Chris, for bringing this perspective and understanding.
Fr.Chris, please pray that I will overcome my anxieties so that I can once and for all have more room for Jesus! (It makes me tired.) God bless you and thank you for all your teachings!
Another great episode Fr. Chris and Giuseppe! Thank you for all you do in spreading Divine Mercy and our faith for all to learn 💛 And God bless Zion, very inspiring story!
Thank you for broadcasting this very, very important message about Pro-life, Fr. Chris and Fr. Allen. God the Father, our Creator, loved all what He has created specially our life, who alone owns us. We pray for this important event that Jesus’ love and mercy leads the hearts and minds of all, specially the wavering ones. Jesus, be with us and defend the little creature growing helplessly in the mother’s womb.
Thank you!!! Terrific episode!! Zion is amazing to say the least!! G-man lookin fly in his Marian blues 🙏💙 God bless - praying daily for all at The Shrine ✝️
Thank you, Fr. Chris, for a different explanation of The Wedding Feast at Cana. With all I have learned, this is a new interpretation for me. But I love it. God Bless you & the Marians.
Father Chris Alar thank you for your insight and inspiration in details for the Meaning of the Wedding at Cana - Living Divine Mercy TV Show (EWTN) Ep. 18 .
Thank you Rev.Fr.Chris You have imparted so much about the enormous significance of the Wedding feast at Cana. It's mind boggling and awesome. I just restricted it to Mother Mary interceding for the bridegroom and she was the reason Jesus performed His first miracle. I was so wrong. God bless you and your congregation always Amen Bangalore India 14/1/2022
what a beautiful and more important, understandable connection with everything. Thank you Ft Alar and all Marian who help search and development these subjects together. Oh dear Lord, thanks also for technologies which gave access for these amazing videos and reflections. I'm growing my faith each minute this century.
Thank you, I really enjoyed this episode, I listened to Bishop Fulton Sheen’s explanation and it was similar to this version. I would love to see all of the mysteries eventually explained like this.
I totally agree with you Fr. Chris over your explanation of the Wedding Feast at Cana, thank you so much. When our own jar, ourselves, are still full of many worldly desires, it’s indeed impossible for Jesus to fill us with Himself. It must be completely empty, following the Nada way of St. John of the Cross: Nothing, Nothing, Nothing. JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU.
FAITH, JESUS I TRUST IN YOU. These words take on a whole different meaning when it comes to Zion Clark. I am sure Jesus was talking about him. When he said, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed and tell that mountain to move, it will move. Once again Jesus demonstrates his love for us through the life of Zion. You were able to tell this incredible life story. No doubt Mary had a role with guiding you in presenting this talk. You do this magnificently by tying in the Wedding Feast at Cana and the feeding of the five thousand with the loves and fishes. You really showed how Jesus provides in great abundance to those who love him.
If not now...... when? This statement of the blessed mother to Jesus at the wedding at Cana is so profound and so amazing 🙏 sometimes when I hesitate to do things that are difficult, but I know are gods will I hear her say this to me.
Greetings .... Oh im really happy that Fr. Chris and his religious community prepared this good and beautiful content, highlighting the MERCY OF GOD in various life experiences of people. It is very significant for me,The Wedding at Cana & is my all time favorite topics to be discussed wholehearted in depth ... most especially in social media so that it can reached out to many people in the world particularly families to help them in their many needs especially at this time where they have been attack by human & evil forces for its destruction. I care very much the families because it had a great impact to all of us and much more everything begins at home. If only families hang on to Gods love and mercy, obey Gods will and pray always, I believed that no forces can beat them. This content helps greatly families to be save from the snares of the devil. Once again thank you Fr. Chris & your cmty. Take care & God Bless.
I recommend the special on Zion that’s on Netflix. Very inspirational. It’s great hearing about Giuseppe’s journey and how close he is with Father Chris. I knew Father Chris was a wrestler in his youth but didn’t know he was still packing some muscles there. Inspirational.
Fr Chris, many thanks for this video. I just watched it, a year after it got posted. But God's word prevails! Your explanation about emptying ourselves so that the Holy Spirit can fill us to the fullest has challenged me. Giuseppe's testimony of taking a leap of faith truly kicks my gut. Please kindly remember me in prayer to fulfil God's divine will even at times of uncertainty & difficulties when everything doesn't seem to make sense. Gbu
Its so nice to meet camera man Giuseppe can we meet brother Mark soon? Thank you Father Alar and most of all for sharing your seminary notes. How would we ever know these things.God bless you and the Marians.
I ask you to pray for my mother. Maria Hien and her sister Maria Y Ben are in good health. full of Mary's grace and overcome the corona virus pandemic. I ask you for my father John bt. Thien is also in good health and is not infected with corona virus like me. I also ask you for my Russian study record to be approved and get a study abroad permit by the end of this year 2021. I also ask you to pray for Maria Y Ben to soon repay the debt
Miracle at Cana was a Miracle of "conversion". Jesus was laying down a marker. Water into wine is symbolic for sinner into Saint. He can do it if only we will let Him. Cheers.
What a blessing this episode is for me. This past Christmas Eve , God allowed me to have an old friend to re-enter into my life. I was so surprised to have my friend call me to find out who had just texted him a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are renewing our friendship at a slow pace. Thanks be to God. Like the wine at the Wedding at Cana, we felt empty but now the wine is filling our empty bodies with life. Thank you Father Chris. Loved this episode. ❤️
Great episode! An episode that I think would really reach the youth. Giuseppe! Paisan! I really enjoyed meeting you and your beautiful mother a few years ago at the Marian's Chicago house with Fr. Michael Callea. Your mom can cook!!!! Mmmmmmm! And I have to ask, how tall is Br. Ben? Stay well!
Fr Chris, I feel “empty”. My family & I are sick. I need to feel better so I can help my daughter & son-in-law. They are so alone. I lost my dearest husband of 54 yrs in Oct. & still am depressed over it ….which may be contributing to my weakness & over all sickness. I ask u for ur prayers for my family…& me. Thank u SO very much, & God bless Fr. Alar & all ur prayer warriors! 🙏
At the wedding in Cana as well as at the distribution of the loaves, it seems as though our Jesus takes ordinary elements and utilizes them to surprise and delight us with the supernatural. How typical of Him😁 We serve a vibrant, living, loving God. Velox Versutus Vigilans
Hi Father Chapin. Hope you are safe in This Pandemic. Jet Blue JUST Started service 2 Islip. Giuseppe, thank you for your good work and sharing your experience with us in the virtual audience. Please, can you give me some info about the framed image of the Child Jesus on your desk? My mother placed this very same image in the bedroom of us children about 70 years ago. She kept it for decades and I’ve just passed it on to a faithful Catholic couple with two toddlers. I would love to know more about the image if you can help. Thanks.
To interpret this the way this priest say i like putting too much head knowledge. The most important is to be able to apply the message in our life. WhatJesus can do to a marriage who in despair. Because this the simple message of this gospel. To interpret it as to what this represent in the mass will not change life of any married couples
Thank you BIen and actually if married couples did take into consideration what this represents in the mass there wouldn't be such a high rate of divorce because we would see God's role in marriage. God bless you
They do these terrible things and still make money, they claim. My guess is that they get contracts to run houses or institutions for orphans, disabled elderly etc etc.
To say that it is because of Mary thatJesus turn into wine is false. Remember what Jesus said I came to do the will of my Father in Heaven John 6:38. So even if Mary want Jesus to turn the water into wine but if its not the will of Father in Heaven, do you think Jesus will do it? Of course not, otherwise He could have disobeyed His Father which is sin. Disobedience is a sin especially if it the will of God we are disobeying. But the Bible say Jesus tempted in all aspect but He never sin.Hebrews 4:15. To say that it is because of Mary that Jesus turn into wine is like making God think like human. Its like lowering Gods thinking to human. Isaiah 55:8-9. God said, my ways are not your ways, and my thought are your thought. Do not compare God to human.....
God bless but Jesus was human too. And the importance of intercessory prayer is stressed throughout the Bible. Cana is just one example of that. God bless
John 2:4 is wrongly translated non literally….makes Christ look rude….and is sadly amiss in virtually every major and minor translation. And Mary hears a yes from Jesus about the wine shortage at Cana but in most translations He is saying no. Except in Young’s Literal and in the Latin Vulgate which keeps the literal also. Mary feared Jesus getting arrested if He miraculously produced wine but her empathy for the couple came first. But Jesus sensed the fear in her face and in her voice as she mentioned the wine shortage and he literally says a rare idiom…. “ What to me and to you, woman, my hour (to die) is not yet come.” That’s why Mary heard a yes. He read her worry….He read the room. P.S. Gynai woman was a tender term at that time in history. Watch Jesus and two angels use it toward Mary Magdalene as she weeps near the tomb of Jesus….then a little later, Jesus uses her name. But when she was weeping, Jesus and separately the two angels used woman….our equivalent would be dearest. Now rewrite Jn.2:4 again…” what to me and to you, dearest, my hour (to suffer and die) is not yet come.”…ie….of course I’ll solve this wine problem…
Thank you Fr Chris Br Ben Fr Joe and Giuseppe Gman! Followed Gman on IG looking good and inspiring story.❤️ Thank you Zion very inspirational and touching story💪❤️Fr Chris praying for you, your parents and Pam. We miss your Homily this week. God bless everyone 🙏❤️
