I've been watching lots of videos. I love your help. The BB felicity awake that I'm painting is the 1st baby that I'm planning on selling. I did 4 dolls so far for family. I've done my flesh 08, mottling, and a light blue wash. My baby looks light to me like a light peach. I'm wondering how I can get her to look more real.
thank you for your videos, I love the way you help by telling us what paints to mix and how much, so helpful, I'v got an old ashton drake baby doll, the skin has gone grey, I want to take it apart and reborn him, what would you recommend to cover the grey look, and bring him back to looking healthy. I would appreaciate any help/advice thank you. xx
Hey Thanks for watching my video. Best advice I can give you is to google Genesis Paint Colour wheel. Basically you need to find the closest colour on the wheel to your babies skin and then the opposite colour on the wheel is what you will have to paint it with to give is a more true to like colour.
Thanks for this! I always heard that you should use a special sponge for mottling and could never figure out how to do it. Defenitely gonna use this technique on my next reborn!
Hi any tips on what to use to apply the mottled affect to a very tiny 10" reborn doll please, sponge method using tweezers pattern to large. Tried a sea sponge but no good either, not picking up any paint and pattern hardly visible.
I am just getting ready to start reborning and I am curious about the baking. Do you use your regular oven (and if so is that not dangerous?) or a different oven?
i'm just starting out, when you finished painting do you throw out the left over paint or store it in a small glass jar? im going to use air dry paints. thanks.
+marina scott When you are using the Air Dry paints you usually only make up a small amount of paint so there won't be much to throw away. And you can do an extra layer if you have enough layer. I normally make a very small amount and use as much as I can, double layer ect. Hope this helps.
Yes absolutely. I do about 3 layers. If you still find it to pale then it means there is not enough colour in your paint and you need to add a little extra.
Awesome Video, this really helps, I needed to know these things, my babies were lacking this feature :)When do you add this ? After the flesh ? And when do you do the veining ?
@@AussieRebornSupplies thanks For the help! I’m buying your air dry paints for my birthday. It’s my first time painting and I’ve bought 3 kits and everything I need.
I just love how you, several times, seem to make eye contact. Makes it very "personal" . Thank you

When do I start color of skin tone before blush and creases
Hi I use air drying ready maid paints, how would I go about using the same coulours but with air dry,or is it a differant colour process?
yes just go for the same or similar colours and it will work out fine.
Thank you very much love.
Annette can you use air dry paint instead of Genesis Heat?, So enjoy your video's
Yes you certainly can.
Thank you for doing this!! Big help!
Especially using the cosmetic wedge, now I don't have to spend money on a honeycomb sponge!
+Enchanted Creations Really glad it helped you. Thank you for watching

Hard call, have you tried a mottling sponge with lots of tiny holes created
Are you using a app to keep track of what you do for each kit??
No I'm not, should I be?
Have you every thought about doing a series of videos on how to do a reborn baby from start to finish
Dawn Town I do have a 3 hour video on youtube that pretty much works like that.
Some of my GHSP is hard. I have trouble getting a "brush" of paint. Is there a way to soften the paint?
you can mix in some thinning medium. That will usually soften it unless its too far gone
very helpful
Glad it could help
Obrigada 🇧🇷
how do you deal with the toxic fumes from the doll kits ?
Thats really a hard one as some say they are toxic and others say they aren't. SOme people wear masks while they are working and also use gloves.

I am just getting ready to start reborning and I am curious about the baking. Do you use your regular oven (and if so is that not dangerous?) or a different oven?
a convection oven. i got me one from walmart for 50.00. you don't want paint fumes in your oven that you cook in.
+chanellali Williams can you use a halogen oven?
No, you need the parts to be evenly baked and cured at 265 for 8 minutes.
❤❤❤

Nice video ...ty
Your very welcome. Thanks for watching.
What colors do you use to mottle? The sponge is soaked purple but on the baby it looks clear?
I use lots of different colours to Mottle, purple, red, blue , green orange ect but the paint will only every be translucent
Can you do more than one layer of mottling, my reborn looks very pale after only one layer
Yes absolutely. I do about 3 layers. If you still find it to pale then it means there is not enough colour in your paint and you need to add a little extra.

+Cheri Ybarra it can be added whenever you like but i added veins about layer 3 then flesh then these mottles.
+MiracleBabiesNursery

Painting the tongue is good to do a very translucent layer of blue then a few layers of lip colour
Thank you so much
I know I’m so late on this video but I have a question, anybody can answer. Do I do mottling before or after doing the skin tone?
You can actually do at anytime during the painting process but I generally do it mid way
