I’m following along with you on my first doll. I’m using air dry paint. My baby never looks wet like yours does. Is that because of the solvents that bake off? If I water my paint for the washes down anymore I’m not sure it will show.
Now that the baby is coming alive, I finally caught on. So that coloring/ texture, (almost like erythema coloring), technique, is really only done when doing an infant? For Instance, if I wanted to then go on to create a six-month-old baby, the mottling is all different? I’m catching on 😄
Toccoah10 10 Exactly! A preemie has different coloring then newborns, who have different colorings then older babies. Red heads have different colorings then dark hair who have different coloring then blondes and then different nationalities also have differing colorings.
Summer Orta I think the baking directions depend on the oven you use. I use a huge Oster convection oven. It only heats in 25 degree increments. So I cook mine at 250 for 12 minutes if it starts in a cool oven or 11 minutes In a hot oven.
Hi just wanted to let you know that I'm really learning from your videos I didn't understand what color red you used in this last mottle color , wasn't sure if it's Genesis red or warm blush
Debbie Taulbee I never really use warm blush. Well, I do if In some of my fantasy colorings. It’s a nice copper russet coloring to base a bronze metallic look. I use 2 different reds. Quinacridone crimson 1 and lip nail blush.
Logan Campbell it’s best to allow the first layer to dry completely before adding next layer, unless you want mixing of the colors like yellow and blue after one another while still damp.
I love your videos. Thank you for sharing!!
Thanks for sharing very helpful. I think it's funny how you said after this were are going to cook the baby!😊
Thanks for sharing in an easy and understandable way 😊
Can you post a list of the GHP you use for your babies? Ive now placed three orders to get the right colors.

the solvent is shiny, and matifies as it dries.
So, do you get the basic flesh tone by the combination of the undertones and mottling?
