If you have not seen "Trading Places" with Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd and Jamie Lee Curtis, you would probably miss the in-joke with the old homeless men being given a wad of money by Eddie Murphy in this film.
The Barbershop scenes were phenomenal. The names they argued over in boxing are the exact names that are argued over as heavyweight great even today. Eddie played himself, the main Barber, the Jewish guy in the Barber shop, as well as The lead singer, Randy Watson. Arsenio played himself the Reverend, the second barber, and the "girl in red" who was flirting with both of them in the club.
1. They killed the multiple roles. 2. The appearance of the Dukes is an "Easter egg" from "Trading Places". 3. James Earl Jones AND John Amos! GMAFB😎😎😁 4. A movie featuring John Amos worth a first time/share is "The Beastmaster". 5. "Son, if you want to keep working here, stay off the drugs".🤣 6. "Coming Two America" is OK, but that's about it.
This movie peaked all film in what I'd call "imitation satire". Much like an imitation product on the open market it is created to resemble a popular product that also is not an exact replica at the same time. It serves to meet most expectations the market would have for the original product, but has distinguishable differences in quality or flavor or texture enough to remain authentic. That's probably the best way I can describe the phenomenon
I know you're called The Loud Guys, and all...and I do like your reactions...but the movies are always so quiet, and your voices are over modulated (too loud for your input setting, causing distortion). If I want to hear the movie dialogue easily, I have to turn the volume up but then your screaming (which causes distortion) is sometimes painful. Can you adjust your input so there is no distortion during your loudest talking?
I like you both, but here's two complaints: [1) Video volume is too low and your voices overpower the video..........2) Never cut out all the jokes & punchlines when editing. Many people are waiting for these jokes - just to be disappointed that they were cut out. Correct these 2 things and your reactions will be a lot stronger & engaging.
"So why did you come here?" "To find something special." "It's a long way to travel." "No journey is too great when one finds what he seeks." Fun Fact: Cuba Gooding Jr. (an Oscar winner) and Vondie Curtis-Hall (an Emmy and SAG Award nominee) made their first on-screen appearances in this film. Zamunda Forever Fact: Zamunda is the name of the fictional African country the main characters are from. This name was taken from a Richard Pryor routine where he referred to a fictional African tribe of the same name. Double Duty Fact: This was the first time Eddie Murphy played multiple characters in the same film, inspired by Peter Sellers who did the same in Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb (1964). This would become a trademark of Murphy. After the make-up and clothing was applied for the Saul character, Eddie Murphy wanted to test the make-up and costume out. He got a golf cart and drove from one studio department to another in Paramount Studios. He would get out of the cart and say "Hi. I'm Eddie Murphy." in his regular voice. No one believed him. Before The MCU Fact: The homeless men that receive the money from Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy) are the Duke brothers (Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche) from Trading Places (1983) also directed by John Landis. In that movie, Billy Ray Valentine (Eddie Murphy) was responsible for The Dukes losing their fortune. The Dukes theme from the movie can be heard in the background. Apparently, Landis didn't like the idea because it would be too self-referential, even though he is known for breaking the fourth wall in his movies. It led to a conflict with producer George Folsey Jr., until star Eddie Murphy decided that it was a great idea.
Unfortunately your audio is still really messed up. The audio on this video is really bad. This is mostly unwatchable. I have noticed that your viewership numbers are not getting better and I can't help but think it is because the audio for your videos is so bad. This should be a popular channel as you are engaging and you come across as good/fun/nice people ... but watching your videos is too much work as the viewer has to constantly adjust the volume level and no one wants to do that. The volume level of your voices and the movie you are watching should be equal - your voices should not be so much louder. Please improve the audio in your videos.
Hello to the Loverly Lady and the Handsome Gentleman , Is it Ginger Oil 🛢 in the Hair you look Beautiful in the Mega Cute Braids , Please don't let Greta Thumburg the Activist see you otherwise she would insist the loverly Lady in Braids would have a Solar Panel on her head 🕉
I looked up Miser it means someone who is greedy. So yes if you're using it to refer to Jews then yes it's obviously derogatory. Just like u wouldnt call Hispanics w*tbacks. Btw Im Jewish and we are such a small community and population in the U.S. this is why we try to keep businesses in the family and work hard to protect wealth for our children. There's nothing wrong with that
@@user-wr9ej6xe4j Of course there is nothing wrong with that. The problem is Nordic white Christians are forbidden to do the same or we are labeled white supremacists. If we point out this hypocrisy we are called anti-Semitic and racist. That is a fact.
fun fact, the actors playing the King and Queen also did the voices for the King and Queen in the Lion King
Yup, her hair got that Soul Glo in it😉👍🏾.
If you have not seen "Trading Places" with Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd and Jamie Lee Curtis, you would probably miss the in-joke with the old homeless men being given a wad of money by Eddie Murphy in this film.
Bingo....
The Prince's parents also played the King and Queen in The Lion King.
Yes, she is looking cute.
Go back and watch the credits. At least a dozen characters were played by the 2 leads in different makeup & costumes…Eddie Murphy & Arsenio Hall.
Also the King is the voice of Darth Vader.

Eddie Murphy played many characters in this, but wow he played the old white Jewish guy in the barbershop too! Great disguise
The Barbershop scenes were phenomenal. The names they argued over in boxing are the exact names that are argued over as heavyweight great even today.

The lead singer, Randy Watson. Arsenio played himself the Reverend, the second barber, and the "girl in red" who was flirting with both of them in the club.
You missed the credits guys, you need to watch them..👍

The young lady’s hair is beautiful. I noticed how shiny her hair was just before the guy mentioned it.

No matter how she looks he's not supposed to complain you're always supposed to tell a girl she looks good

The African dance that was performed when Akeem was being introduced to his first fiancee was choreographed by Paula Abdul.

I use oil on my hair all the time. I kind of have to, since I live in the desert. My hair gets very dry and brittle without it.

Miser=Jew. If we say that word in America it's considered anti-Semitic which is B.S.
Out of curiosity…when’s the last time you donated to a charity or volunteered at some organization that helps people?
