- Once again, I’m alive, been a while since I did this kinda video. With the new Fire Emblem game out, I wanted to do so once more, since these are the main videos people know me for nowadays.
For this series I skipped one of the Alear forms to avoid showing the same, or similar convo twice. Due to the fact the supports seem to be the same for both Alears, I’m not going to film fem Alear.
Because this is a more traditional FE game, we have three supports per unit. We also have the equivalent of an S support but only for Alear and the other units. I filmed the S Pact Ring supports in advance so Alear’s will come last.

It saddens me that her wealth reveals two significant weaknesses about her. Her compassionate nature and her self confidence as a retainer, but its also these weaknesses that makes all the more sense for her to be Alcrest's retainer.

Unless I am mistaken, the pebble is a referance to the free DLC in fire emblem fates.
I just thought about it but…Citrinne could technically be the queen of Brodia. For what I know she’s related to Diamant and Alcryst, which was stated in some supports. For what I know about kingdoms, the heir can only be someone who’s a relative oh the king/queen. If something where to happen to Diamant or Alcryst, she could take the throne. Just my thoughts.
She has several older brothers, and as far as we know her parents are still alive. They'd all have to die too before she can get the throne.

I regret benching her in my first playthrough. I was already using Celine and I didn't intend on swapping her out. I'll definitely be using her for my second run tho
Strangely enough I brought her back on my team over Celine part way through the game. Celine kept only getting strength that her strength stat was higher than magic. I used Citrinne mostly as a filler unit early on, then bench near mid game, to bring her back almost late game as my Olwen Thunder user

hm, i like citrinne but not too fond of her supports. Clanne's one was a little cute tho
i also didnt think too fondly of Citrene's supports untill I realized she's desperate to latch on to her friendships and will do anything to support her friends to keep that relationship whether it be through money or assisting their goals.
it recontextualizes all her prior supports, Citrinne is finding out how to truly create meaningful relationships in most of these supports which makes me appreciate the direction of her character alot more
Citrinne is a noble, one of royal blood, even. She is well practiced as a noble, has a strong handle on the going ons of her country, has formidable intuition, and is used to the scandals and politicking of nobles.
But she feels lonely. Even her childhood friends of Alcryst and Diamant seem so far and removed from her before the war, and since joining the war, Citrinne has discovered new people who do not simply judge her as being a noble or believe she is after something. She tries her best to make friends, but her upbringing means she thinks extravagant gifts and expensive meals are how you gain friends.
Her supports show how out of touch she is, but how much she wants to be part of people's lives. Not in a narcissistic way like Goldmary, but as a genuine friend.
She cares deeply for her friends just as she does her country, and seems to evolve from the experiences

I think they emphasize it because in the original japanese dialogue, there was implications to incestuous relationships (not that that is surprising for royals and nobles)
The english localization seems to be blatant in saying "we are so closely related, practically cousins, so we are gonna be mutual friends and NOTHING MORE" XD
@@dualwieldroxas358 English localization be weird sometimes, like they swerve hard in some directions but stop cold in others when doing the opposite would be more fitting.
