the funny thing is that thorium reactors irl (Specifically liquid thorium salt reactors? are typically passively safe and can't go catastrophically bad like chernobyl and plutonium and uranium based designs, if something goes wrong and they end up critical they brick themselves by melting certain parts of their containment instead of just having a runaway critical reaction for ages and boom

As one of the beta testers for the game I can confirm that it is exactly the way it was with beta, lol. You just started with everything unlocked and had to continually push your wall further in order to get better materials.
And get sabotaged for flares

I use it in the late game when i have no place for conveyors with lead and copper

Miner drone only need one ore tile to work
Miner drone only take energy to construct and doesn't need energy after construction
Miner drone doesn't take up valuable input in the form of conveyor as they deliver the ore straight to your core
Miner isn't limited by conveyor throughput because as mention above they deliver the ore straight to the core
Miner are insanely cheap only requiring copper and lead to make
I believe that i have make my point on why miner drone are better than drill for lead and copper

mining drones leaves copper and lead so that the drills can make metaglass and such

@@playwithreaper1194 because of how routers work: if they receive an item they will find all possible outputs and evenly distribute between them. It works fine if you hook it up to a conveyor because a it does not consider a conveyor that goes into it a possible output. But it does consider a router an output even if that was its input. So there is a chance that the router instead of passing the item forward it will give it backwards. And even that can give it backwards and so on. Best to demonstrate: on a line of conveyor belts replace two adjacent pieces with routers and you should see that the input is halted and the output is not compressed. (there is a 50% chance for each item)
You can even see it in the video the line of Titanium is stuck at the input of the first router even though there is a plenty of available outputs. (it is stuck because the first router is full of items that was passed back)
Use a overflow gate and inverted sorter combo instead
@Renato Barros just some tips for you,it helps you by avoiding conveyor clog. And it helps you to distributes amunition to defense,you can make many layers as you like,hope that help.

Edit: t/n, only use your core as a meat shield if you are confident that it can withstand the remainder of the wave's attack and that you can clear it out before another wave arrives at the core.(I'm sure many of you know this)
Using the core as meat-shield is 200iq plays tbh.
Tbh i usually panicked when they reached my core. because I'm pretty new to the game XD
Yeah, I generally try to keep my core as far away from combat as possible, I make sure to wall in the spawn and make it impossible to get past, but if they do im screwed.

About the boom there, it was the thorium reactor explosion yes it explodes coz you don’t have enough cryofluid you need 827618261626723632233268423684762367823326726383263633636636464646464636366453646366363633663737337736 cryofluid to make it not explode

I remember the first time I downloaded the game for free on the app store... Didn't know it'd evolve into this. I had nothing to do with the development but strangely, I'm kinda proud.
Yeah, early Mindustry was interesting until you got to the point where large enemies could basically just melt through your defenses, at which point all the little factories you constructed (and that attempt to figure out how to get the nuclear reactor working) go down the drain. Also, the teleporter made moving around resources too easy, there was no problem solving beyond matching the input and output to the right, unused channel, making belts entirely irrelevant once you've managed this.

Every Update phase has multiplied my interest in the game, most games I know of can only brag of doing this once or twice. Anuken of Mindustry has done this consistently.
U know that having construction drones makes u build a lot faster
but it is not worth all the stuff to make

I think when you hear boom sound or see destroyed reactors and defense system its reason this flying enemies hits the criogen system and reactors heats up and boom and hits other reactors making domino like.
