@@FalconPaladin I'm not an amazing starcraft player by any means (seriously, like 150APM peak haha) but I love talking strategy and meta and I'm hoping my general knowledge might be good enough to make my videos interesting. It sounds like you're pretty experienced in the pro scene and have some skills in zerg play. So to say I'm a little intimidated is a bit of an understatement!

I see "flash" and "free" in the title, and suddenly I remember elementary school gaming.
Attacking from low to high ground has an approximately 50% chance to miss and this is one of the reasons why ramps were so incredibly difficult to break in Brood War. A defensive force on the high ground could hold off a similar army nearly twice its size due to this hit modifier.

Check Liquipedia. Their evidence shows that miss percentage is much closer to 50% than the 30% that you say.

15:00 Terran mech are so cost effective. This one 75 mineral vulture killed 2x high templars and two probes...more than paid for itself.
Protoss player should have focused on rushing instead of tech and eco, he would have won the war .

Yo Falcon, I sometimes go back and watch some of your older casts, where your intro is kind of calm and less Husky-esque. Would be cool if you could bring back (from time to time) that calmer intro: "Hello, this is Falcon Paladin, coming to you with..." to mix up the "COMING AT YAAAAA~~~~..." :D

Hi Falcon. Really enjoying your casts, keep it up! One thing I have noticed. As you have mentioned you have watched the game on x8 speed you probably knew the winner. So your commentary were a bit bias towards one of the players. So through the game I kinda knew that flash would win, telling from how you commenting. Noticed this with some of your other BW casts too.
This is literally the only cast I've watched at all before casting it. If it seems like I know who is going to win, it's probably just a guess from how things are going.

Does protoss typically struggle more against terran than zerg? It seems like terran has superior counters in a TVP match.
Protoss are better suited to fight Zerg army

It’s funny that you never noticed the Vulture riders or the guys spinning on the turrets. You could see them in the original if you looked closely. Turret guy has the worst job in the Terran army.

also would really love to bounce some ideas off you before you cast 'em.. for example, you're usually like 50/50 on calling the player reasoning or calling what/why things happen.. it's really obvious that you're not much of a bw player (i totally do not mean that in a derisive manner).. your charismatic personality more than makes up for it though. anyway, i'd really like to help 'cuz i'm kind of a starcraft encyclopedia but my personality is trash, lol

why can't spider mines target workers? what's the reasoning?
Worker units hover so they do not set off the spider mine's ground sensors.
So high templar and bikes shouldn't trigger them, right? or is it just for balance?
I don't know if it was for balance purposes but at the very least this rule is consistent in that spider mines don't detect hovering units which do indeed include high templar and enemy vultures.

The thing I still can’t understand is why every protos player is trying to fight Flash without air force units. No corsars, no carriers. It is ridiculous playing like this realizing Flash’s strategy with tanks. Everyone knows he loves tanks but doing the same mistake again and again.

I have a true question. I am sure thoses pro players know exactly what they are doing and they are far better than me no questions. But i ask myself why the protoss player dont use more air forces like carriers to counter the heavy tanks army of the terran, who is for me the most deadly ground/ground unit in this game.

watch the game before casting it so you know the drops and al that, you missed some drops at the end of the game
Amilkar eslava galvis I'm pretty sure he's practicing casting from a raw perspective. If he misses something just mention it like you did and he'll improve on it.
i just think its easier for him, why would he cast from raw if he aint gonna cast for a tournament or something, he can just a game before casting it 2x or something and its gonna be muuuch easier. And its not like that is going to harm his casting or something, but hey, thats just like, my opinion, man

2nd time around, he will be less enthusiastic. So it will affect his cast. The unexpected things that occur translate into a more entertaining cast. I think he mentioned he did actually watch it once before casting but it was at 8x speed. Sounds like good idea so he can see the game was balanced and interesting but didn't affect his cast because he hadn't watched all the engagements in detail.
Actually no. Watching it ruins the surprise. In this case it was pre-watched and other people noticed it. Not as exciting.

so? not all the time he has to spam apm like insane, i saw him many times talk to twitch chat from the start or just even go alt tab in some games
yeah agreed, your only gonna see 450+ apm at start in a tournament where they would like to showcase things like APM and to essentially warm up for peak performance later. This would have just been a ladder game or something and one or both players were probably streaming so wouldn't have been spamming mouse clicks etc as much. Yes they do still spam APM on streams but not all the time.
thought stork was 300 ish (at his peak), pretty much the same as Snow. Both of them are in the 300-350 range. Snow and Stork (when he was at his peak) do make up for it by focusing on things like reaver harass etc.
as a long long long long time bw player, i'm still offering my services to screen/find some reps for you to cast!
