Your explanation of the problem with your Jeep is exactly what is going on with mine!😯 Thank you so much for your video, it helped me.... I absolutely appreciate it.
I have a 2007 4.7L Jeep Grand Cherokee. Last summer I started to have skipping and misfire problems. It is directly related to the temperature outside. The Jeep runs perfect October to May here in New England, then summer comes When it hits about 75 degrees outside I will have very intermittent multiple cyl misfires. Usually after I stop for a few minutes to run in a store and then get back on the road. It exhibits the problem as you accelerate. At 90 degrees and above it is a constant problem. Once the weather cools, back to perfect operation. I suspected a vapor problem but this video makes me think maybe I have a coil problem. 20k on this rebuilt engine, but I suspect the coil packs may be original 133K. Sounds like this is worth trying. Thoughts?
@@thedadbodgarage1823 So on my 90 degree day drive last week I kicked off the following codes. #1. RAndom Multiple Cylinder Misfire, #2. Injector Circuit/Open Cyl 5, and #3 Ignition Coil A Secondary Circuit. So what would you do next. Coils and plugs, or PCM? When I saw the Ignition Coil A Secondary Circuit fault I figured your video nailed my problem? Thanks
@@ricardolopezdevictoria1109 mine too, it is very hard to replace the exaust spark plugs...I am now working on it....I believe they remove the engine to do that...hehehehe Greetings from Brazil \0/

I’m having multiple misfires on mines it won’t start now is that the same reason
What about the other 8 plugs? None of the videos online address those
Were you able to find a video for the “bottom” 8? I’ve been searching, but so far nothing

The pcm is known to cause this symptom.

Just as an FYI I did another 120 miles with multiple stops in 65 degree weather today, absolutely ran perfect! :(
You should blow the dirt out of the coil pack hole before taking the plugs out
The truck had 16 plugs you only changed 8?
No sir this one only had 8
Yes I discovered my 4.7 is a gen 2

The truck probably a 5.7 liter, they have 16 spark plugs
Indeed
Same problem. Still no help.
Then it's probably the computer
My guy, you forgot about the other 8 spark plugs
I believe there is only one set of plugs on pre-2008 4.7's
