You can grow the cuttings any size as long as you give it enough roper care. I had 2 massive Hoyas macrophyla inner variagated and Hoya Viola that both decided they hated me, I hesitated to cute then and lost both of them. I really wish I had cut them so I would have the cuttings. But we live and learn. 😢😂
Exactly! Every day is a learning experience with everything we do. I think it’s a hairstylist in me and I like to cut things 😂. If I see my plants declining, I just chop them up and see what happens. That’s probably why I ended up with so many plants.
I agree with your philosophy! Once the plants get large, you may not want to cut them down to one or two node cuttings. Great job! Thanks for highlighting this! 💚
Hi Elena! Your Sarawak is looking great....mine has red sun stress under and on top....just looked at mine yesterday! Reminds me I have to go check one of my hoya that is shrivelinglike that! Your grow tent is amazing! Perfect for all your beautiful babies! Your anthurium are so big! Thanks for the nice video butterfly! Love tina
Thank you! 💚 I propagate all my Hoyas in coco coir and vermiculite mix. I have a video on my channel where I show how I prep it. It does works for all of my Hoyas and even other plants that I propagate.
@@ElenasGreenPlanet I will definitely look up your video on how to make your prep mix. Thank you so much for your help. I love your channel. I am a new subscriber so I need to go back and watch all your videos.
Where did this nonsense come from that cuttings have to be small to root? Large branches are cut from trees and planted in the soil all the time and they root and flourish without any issues. Thank you for correcting that assumption.
I love propagating my plants!! It’s so easy to do!! They look great!! Thanks for sharing! 💜💚🪴🌵

So glad you were able to keep your plants! I want to try and propagate a few of my Hoyas too 😊
Wow, that rooting in 2 weeks is amazing 😍😍 You're a Hoya whisperer 🌱🌱💚
I don’t think my skills have anything to do with that, this Hoya just roots very fast 😊💚.
Gorgeous plants! ❤
Thanks for the video 💚💚💚💚
That sick one looks beautiful now. And look at those roots.
Hi Elena

The two that are growing are stunning. Good luck on third cutting. What do you riot th em in to get new roots?
Hi Lisa! I root all my Hoyas in coco coir and vermiculite mix.
What a beautiful Hoya. What medium do you propagate in? Would it work for all Hoya propagations? You are amazing I loved watching your update.

My goodness that’s a big grow tent. Where do you keep it?
It is pretty big tent, but still not big enough 😂. It’s 4 x 8‘ and I keep it in my basement.

People re-root whole plants they get from Asia.
We know that. I just hope a person who was questioning it knows that now too 😊.
