Just wanted to state the fact that I love the quality I get from my Mavic 3. Comparing the two different types of drones is difficult. Also because of the fact that it is possible to put cinema cameras on both normal drones and FPVs. So this is not as much a comparison of quality as it is a comparison of the different posibilities in using the two different types of drones.
Great video, Petter! After flying Mavics for years, I recently started FPV. It is crazy, exhilirating and allows you to capture "movement" so much better than the Mavics. However, my Mavic has a special place for that slower, vista kind of photography, and it's nice to fly with my heart rate below 140bpm! 🤣 🙏
Ive had the original mavic pro,the mavic 2 pro and i now have the mavic 3.i got into the fpv hobby about a year ago,building and flying.i barely touched the mavic 2 and the mavic 3 since.i will use the m3 for some future projects but its been sitting on the shelf since it was released.fpv is so much more fun when u start getting to grips with it :)
Wow, from seein babangs flyin and some pics on his insta of him w a snowboard, i think he may be the happiest guy on earth. Definately looks like he has the most fun. I gotta learn from both of you. Thank you for posting 👍🙇♂️

We didn’t talk too much about that in this video since Babang is a fan of building his own FPVs and the Avata hadn’t released. Now I am a big fan of the Avata, flying that drone and with several hours in a simulator I feel way more confident with FPV 😊 so my recommendation is the DJI Avata or a cheap ready built FPV drone. If you google «Ready built FPV drone» I am sure you will find lots of alternatives! 😊 good luck on your journey!

@@PetterHetland Sounds Great. Im on the fence to buy a mavic 3 classic, but fpv looks awesome. I used to have the DJI mini gen1 but wasn’t that great for stronger winds. I don’t have any experience in fpv yet but I love those shots flying down the mountain
@@Creepiify Well as you saw in this video there is a big difference in the two types of drones, but you probably know that. I would recommend looking into the mini 3 pro and maybe try building your own drone, that way you might have both, but I don´t know your budget. I would never switch out my mavic 3 for a fpv drone. being able to take both photos and amazing video is more important to me than fpv and has a wider range of use. But I can´t decide for you... it will be up to you to decide what is most important for your use. If you stick around you´ll catch my eventual video of my fpv build :)
Dont you think that with both drones you have to practice a lot? With the Mavic you practice how to make cinematic movements and how to show things in the most interesting way. With the FPV you focus on how to fly and make acrobatic moves. I also think these drones cant be compared because the are built for a different purpose. By the way -nice videos!
Of course! I do feel I lost a little focus on my talk about normal drones. But I did say that flying the drone is easy, but getting great shots takes practice. I have been flying a lot over the last year and my drone footage is only getting better and better because of it. So yeah, both takes practice! Also yes, it was more to compare the difference between them. Thank you for the feedback 😊

@@clifftonvaldaris4566 I don’t have the goggles at hand and haven’t tried it so I can’t say if it works or not. But in general wired should work because you can have HDMI out on the controler to the goggles. But I’m not 100% sure 😊

I have never seen a use for FPV goggles when filming with the Mavic 3, but you should check out DJIs goggles, they are top notch!

Is the DJI V2 goggles compatible with the mavic 3??
It seems they aren’t compatible yet, but I plan on getting them and testing 😊
