I thought Oldsmobile would use the Cutlass Ciera for 1988 in NASCAR though it looked more aerodynamically better than the Cutlass Supreme that was used from 1988 through the end of Oldsmobile's run in NASCAR

The Ciera was too narrow for NASCAR cup specs that year,and knowing NASCAR they want the cars their way!
