That shit is strong , so I'm not sure if that'll work on Gorilla glue, but for Loctite, and other brands, you literally have to take a sawzall , or pull bar and cut/chip away at the glue, and it usually damages the wood. Now obviously this out of the question for her hair, so unless they got some real strong chemicals, then it might be there to stay. Edit: Even if they get some Strong solutions to dissolve the glue. It's bound to damage the skin and hair follicles. So she'll probably still have to wear a wig for the rest of her life.

Super glue has a problem, it chemically bonds the objects(imagine welding) , even a solvente will not work since the hairs are 1 large object now, she will have to shave her head. Ideally soon too, the glue closed all the pores in her scalp, she can endup with necrosis in her head.
There is actually a gel brand called Gorilla snot glue and when I first heard about it from people I thought it was called gorilla glue (that’s what people told me it was called) Even when I went to the hair store I even asked for gorilla glue gel (I knew what gorilla glue was but I thought they were similarly named and the difference was the word gel) before they told me it’s actually called gorilla snot glue. As mentioned there are some gels that are spray on, and the color scheme of gorilla snot and gorilla glue are quite similar. I can see how one could confuse the two.

I have found that a lot of people are functionally illiterate these days. They refuse to read directions and labels. Maybe in a couple of months she'll have enough hair growth to get a set of clippers under that mess and shave her head bald. Serves her ass right. The only way I know to get gorilla glue off is with acetone and a fresh box cutter razor. I'm pretty sure acetone shouldn't be put on your skin and the kind of pressure you would need to use with the razor would probably cut her skin.

There is actually a gel brand called Gorilla snot glue and when I first heard about it from people I thought it was called gorilla glue (that’s what people told me it was called) Even when I went to the hair store I even asked for gorilla glue gel (I knew what gorilla glue was but I thought they were similarly named and the difference was the word gel) before they told me it’s actually called gorilla snot glue. As mentioned there are some gels that are spray on, and the color scheme of gorilla snot and gorilla glue are quite similar. I can see how one could confuse the two.
You would see what I mean if you searched up gorilla snot. The only problem is that this girl decided not to read lol. Had she read the label she would’ve been saved a lot of stress and pain. It seems like she wouldn’t be able to shave the hair if she wanted to. How sad 😔

I have found that a lot of people are functionally illiterate these days. They refuse to read directions and labels. Maybe in a couple of months she'll have enough hair growth to get a set of clippers under that mess and shave her head bald. Serves her ass right. My twelve year old knows better than to touch that stuff. She's seen me use it to bond car parts temporarily together. It's not that good of a glue for most things, but for fibrous things and skin it sets like concrete. I used it on my son's glasses one year. Not so great. He came running to me later. "Mom, they broke again!"

There was no implication that she mistook it for gorilla snot, because she didn’t mistake it for gorilla snot because she would’ve said she mistook it for gorilla snot, but gorilla snot is a gel not a spray so it’s nearly impossible to confuse the two, plus they’re not even found in the same store. They’re both labeled on the front of what they are and do. She knew it was glue spray but she didn’t intend for it to do what it did to her hair. I feel bad for her but all she had to do was read and have common sense.

She went to the hospital they tried acetone. It burned her scalp and just made the glue gooey and then it hardened back up.

@@Whatthefudgecookie Okay, I looked it up and this is the complete mixture of what they used : a homemade solvent of medical grade adhesive remover, an ingredient called MGD, some acetone, aloe vera, and olive oil.

The only way I know to get gorilla glue off is with acetone and a fresh box cutter razor. I'm pretty sure acetone shouldn't be put on your skin and the kind of pressure you would need to use with the razor would probably cut her skin.
@SoulRebel193 she went to ER, they gave her acetone wipes and saline, she was in a lot of pain when she tried to apply it. It's actually very concerning 😟
