Chris Froome you look happy and fresh and I'm glad for that. I wish you the best and thank you for the wonderful times you have given us. Stay healthy always.
Hey Chris! I just found your channel and want to say what an idol and legend you are to me! My younger childhood consisted of watching you crush the TdF year after year and going for 5 wins. Not to mention the Giro and Vuelta! I remember you battling with the other legends shown in this video and what an inspiration it is for me and the other people I race with (not quite TdF level, but that my dream). Good luck for the next year!!
The Aussie larrakin spirit alive and kicking in Robbie Mcewen. If you see this Robbie, really enjoyed you and Anna in commentary at Tour Down Under last edition, absolutely awesome team.
This was another excellent video diary and thank you for sharing your adventures with us Chris. If ever you are up in the north west of England and fancy a ride in the Pennines, give us a shout... And best of luck with the new season buddy...
Great update and glad to see you're having fun. I did recognise the caviar king. Merry Christmas to you and your family. And fingers crossed for you to have an awesome season next year.
Nice video, keep em coming. But looking at how the manufacturing is done I’m happy to have gone with a Time instead. Granted, those are not the lightest by any means..but neither am I..
Glad too see you again!!! Great Video! But does my factor ostro "from unkown source" come from the building next to that shown factory. even the local dealer at my local bikeshop could not see any difference
@@chrisjames1924 Colnago C68 All road ,Campy SR 2023 . Dream !!! Rode it in the beach ⛱️ in Daytona from road, gravel to beach. I name all my bikes this one is Lisanna my new hotie!!! Italiana 100%.
@@yellowquantum4240 Oh wow, that really is the dream bike. Enjoy! I’d been looking at the Ti version but I couldn’t allow myself to go to $17,000. Ouch!
Interesting Factor factory visit, do they paint out there as well? I’d heard that Factor in Norfolk sent frames to Lustre Coatings not too far away but do the production factory in Asia paint out there?
French manufacturer, Look, made its first carbon frame, the KG 86, with a lugged construction. The carbon tubes were made by a French company, TVT, which combined Kevlar with layers of woven carbon fiber for additional strength. The tubes were then bonded with epoxy into aluminum lugs they went on to develop frames using the inflated bladder system i put this here because i hate BS.
The guy in the video needs to brush up on his physics haha. To your question, if 780N is expressed as a weight force here on earth, yes it's about 78kg. But the unit quoted was Newton-Metres which is torque. So 780Nm would be like 78 kg hung off a 1m bar.
@@everythingian7579yeah but I couldn’t see any rotationary type of force in the machine, only a straight press, so I’m thinking the guy is also off with his unit, but I’m not 100% sure about that Edit: nevermind i think it’s flexing around the headtube, so N/m is correct I think
Yes, most frames are made with the closed-mold technique where they have multiple overlaps which is also the reason why they weigh more, i've seen videos of people showing the inside of a factor ostro vam and i've seen what it weighs so they definetly don't overlap.
The guy (The boss or cycling industry: Rob Gitelis) explaining showcasing the factory is the most important person in cycling industry for the past 30 years. Probably the most important person in moving to all carbon bikes.
Makes sense that not all frames from one company is the same given the amount of handwork being done. If your frame is done by Lijun and mine is fucked up by Karen...
That bike would look and ride great with.....
Rim brakes. IYKYK.
Chris Froome you look happy and fresh and I'm glad for that. I wish you the best and thank you for the wonderful times you have given us. Stay healthy always.
Need a rim brake model too 😉
How can you not like the positiveness of this guy. What a refreshing video.
Love seeing these legends having fun together .♥♥
Great video. Chris was a super chill and approachable guy at the Tour of Hainan too. Legend.
The factory tour was very interesting, thanks for sharing.
Thank you Mr. Chris for the great positive. I give a thumbs up.
I could have sat through an hour on each of those events. Fascinating.
Thank you, Chris, for bringing us along with you around the world!
Great to see a new video from you. Wish you all the best for 2024!!!!
2011 since my last new bike day. Apart from new chains, cassettes, chain rings, tyres etc., it’s still rolling.
Loved the behind the scenes at Factor! Seeing you pros have some fun with each other a great. All the best to you guys!!
Nice one Chris. I wish you all well for 2024! 🎉😊

That was such an interesting vid, loved it.
Thanks for another awesome video😊
Taiwan is such a great country. That bike is gorgeous. Factor really makes nice bikes.
Super cool Legends galore 👊
780 Nm = 780 kg!? I sure hope he had nothing to do with the engineering or testing.
Yeah wth was that

that paint job is 🔥
I envy the fans in Singapore and Japan. Cycling is a relatively minor sport in South Korea and I’d love to be a part of these events one day!
Welcome to TAIWAN! And yes this is where the magic happens! 😃
Wonderful fun to watch!
Glad you enjoyed it!
you must be disappointed, it still has discs..... :)
Froomey will always be my favourite 💯💯💯🏆
Better make sure the measurements and bike fit are correct. You don’t want to find that out way later.
Not the first time «Vino» is in the dangerous corner …
Crazy to know bikes being made with those paper thin flexible sheets
We love you Chris
wow amazing. thanks for sharing froomey
Ehh so nice to watch thanks
Get that tape measure out Froomey son.
OMG Chris froome and Peter sagan at one video?? you guys drivem crazyyy
Let's check the seat height and stuff this time, ok Froomey?
I am interested of getting an Ostro, but it's challenging to find support for the Factor brand in most bike shops here in Southern California.
i hope they adjust the seat to the right height 😂
Next season I will be chrisfrooming up the hills again. Have fun all together and Merry Cristmas everybody
Time uses a wax core on high end frame, much better than foam in my opinion
Need Hambini to do a deep dive into that super dooper Factor frame....
Great video

No gloves for layup technicians handling pre-preg?
We the people need more Chris Froome🤗
9:41 that technique!
Yep, $14000 bikes (SL8) are made in Taiwan/China too
I buy a bike every 8 yrs. I am ready for my new bike. I am going all the way this time ...why not you only live once...😮

I would love to know the wages the ladies laying on this expensive fiber onto these expensive frames are being paid.
Such a good video, IPT really should've promoted Froome more
nice vid froomey
the factory tour looked surprisingly like Taiwan

That was a surprisingly enjoyable video! Thanks for posting. PS: was that lorry driver in the intro motoring or what?! Idiot.
I think I need an ostro vam
One thing I always think about these trips…what’s the appearance fee and who decides in advance the script and outcome of the race?
Let's Go!…

Surely the polystyrene mould is just like times wax models but worse
780 newtons is 79.5kg at gravity of 9.81…. Not 780kg
