- Our first family backcountry camping trip. The Cheakamus Lake campsite is located at the southern end of the lake and is only 3km from the parking lot along a relatively flat trail. There are reservable sites to set up a tent along the shore of Cheakamus Lake. Other facilities include a pit toilet and a pulley system used to hang food. Very family friendly trail! Only downside was the road to the trailhead was not paved and extremely bumpy.
Gear I used during the hike:
Gregory Stout 60L
The North Face Stormbreak 1
Flytop 2 Person Tent
Unigear Double Hammock
Therm-a-Rest Neoair Xtherm
Montbell Down Hugger 800 #2
Sea To Summit Camping Pillow
SOTO Field Hopper
Primus essencial trail stove
Boundless Voyage Titanium Pot Pan Set
Boundless Voyage Titanium Pegs
Sawyer Water Filter
Cascade Mountain Trekking Poles
Platypus Water Reservoir
Mess Tin Cooker
Midland Walkie Talkie
BGM

ありがとうございます。駐車場までの道路がデコボコで大変でしたが、子連れには最高なTrailでした😁
Hi, new subscriber here!
Love how your kids had their own packs? Did your eldest keep it on the whole time as my son always hands me his after about half an hour 🙈 Looks like a gorgeous place too and you use the same music as I do in some of mine 😜 Hope you had a blast, it looks like you did ❤
Hey thanks for your comment. Yes, my 8 year old son kept his backpack till the end although he complained his shoulders hurt a bit😂
Looks like you have similar contents as well. I have subscribed yours too. Will look forward to checking out your videos. Keep in touch!
@@campshokudo5768 thank you and I definitely will. I’m always looking to engage with like minded people and even though the Lake District us absolutely gorgeous, I can’t help feeling a little jealous when I see some of the footage from some of your backcountry trips across the pond - that place looked unreal. Looking forward to checking out more of your content and keep up the great work. Happy camping ⛰🏕
