- Reaching the first Master 1 of 2024 with my original creation, Blue-Eyes XYZ OTK, feels so satisfying and fun as well. I had reached Master 1 with this deck twice last year, so giving it a go to start 2024 / The Year of the Dragon (Chinese Calendar) feels like the right thing to do.
The deck's gameplan is to go 2nd, be aggresive, and OTK if possible by using Blue-Eyes cards as its core. To do that, I play plenty of cards to counter/destroy the meta. I feel the cards I play are the best for the deck to compete on the ladder, which are dominated by combo decks like SHS, Mannadium, Mathmech, Branded, Tear, etc. However, there were also times when other cards felt better to counter the ladder, so I had played those cards as well.

I would consider myself decent - good with the decks I run, but my BIGGEST weakness is I just don’t know how the opponents deck works.
As a result, I ash or negate wrong things and even though I can almost fight through a board, I don’t pull it off.
Seeing your tips on what cards to hit, and how to play around them is HUGE! TY
Same I watch a lot of my duel over to understand where I misplayed I also tend to ash/ max c at the wrong time

The combo of 17:00 is getting nebula sending BEWD from hand to GY then summon striker dragon with seyfert. Now seyfert is in the GY and u can recycle BEWD. Now u just need to summon nebula and BEWD with nebula's effect and u have two level 8 monsters to xyz.

Maybe just replacing 1 BEWD with the new alt art BEWD xD. Also , if snake -eyes rule the ladder, replace some staples with d.d. crow can be a good decision.

I lose a lot on multi combo decks and i very confused who to negate just to break there combos.. Thank you for teaching us how to counter wise the certain card in every deck.

PS: out of no where i got Daruma cannon twice instead the card that i wanted. Is chaos max or tyrant dragon good combo for Daruma cannon?
You are welcome.
Tyrant Dragon loses to Daruma, since Daruma forces players to send any monsters not flipped face-dwon (like link monsters/Tyrant) to GY. Chaos MAX flipped face-down means its protection is gone and its defense is only 0. Besides, it's a trap and I feel Chaos MAX is better to OTK than waiting for that trap to resolve (on the next turn). It's a good generic trap tho, so you can play it on other deck(s), or pure blue-eyes (the one that plays BE Abyss to add Chaos MAX+Form) for example

Yes, sure. True Light control, Bystial/Dragon Combo, or the synchro version can make good board going 1st

You need to learn the chokepoints of meta decks you face, like I explained in the video.

I dont like getting Iblee lock (if it happens to show up). Also helps activating Lightning Storm if needed. Besides, blind 2nd usually doesnt have any monsters to start the turn, so Dark Hole doesnt usually destroy your monsters.

Seyfert + BEWD will get OTK? Well seyfert send itself and BEWD to add nebula dragon and then banish seyfert to get BEWD back, but is it work? Or seyfert can send BEWD to add lubellion and then summon it, but how to summon level 8 monster the other one?
Seyfert swaps BEWD for Nebula. Link summon Striker Dragon by using Seyfert. Seyfert recycles BEWD from GY to hand. Then use Nebula's effect to summon both Dragons. I think you know the rest xD

I mention some in the description. I guess Trade-In is a consistency card, so I think you can replace it with other consistency cards like Thrust, Talent, or Danger.
How is number 97 dragon didn't work? Is it a nerf? Couldn't summon Numeron dragon
You need 2 No XYZ Dragons to use 97's effect. Also you cant summon Numeron Dragon again from GY, because it was not summoned properly. There is also a possibility of the game state you missed, for example you get Scythe lock etc.
Weird, the cipher level 8 dragon can not attack directly, but u can still. Is that a faulty app? If u take control opponent’s monster, your monster can not attack directly! Please explain😢 at 19:00 or so. I can see u can still attack directly in later.
The original R8 Cipher can still attack directly, but other monsters cant.

Galaxy-Eyes Photon? Maybe not so much. But Blue-Eyes R8 decks like this, it can help milling good dragons at the very least.

I think Dragon Link is better generally played going 1st. In this regard, the deck is as consistent as DLink can be rn. You can try playing One for One as well, since it searches Black Metal Dragon, which you like. You can also play Chaos Space + Levianeer again, to help fuel GY for Bystial and adding extenders, since Lubellion adds other Bystials, which DLink likes to go link climbing.
@@user-lz3nq2oe2h Dragunity can be played for Dragon Link, since it helps summoning Romulus pretty fast. But it doesnt mean they must be played together. Do you understand what I'm saying?
