DECIDED TO PLASTI DIP THE BABY CAR I used 14 aerosol cans of red. 6 of black and no glossifier. A 2 mil roll plastic (100ft) www.lowes.com/... www.lowes.com/... www.lowes.com/...
Super Job !! I never new this was possible with cans.. Please share some information on the new wheel an tyre combo. Inch wheels? (17's I recon?) Tyre's ?? (205 or 215?) and ET/offset ? . Many thanks
Hey thanks for watching and yes is a bit time consuming, but it is possible. And for the wheel specs I have other video on my channel I’ll attach it here 👇🏼
For the whole car? No it won’t be enough u need at least double the cans . Here’s the thing if u do really light coats next time you want to remove it or change the color it will be hard because the plastidip will rip off everytime you pull on it . I will be changing the color next month on mine and will be making a video of why u need to apply at least 5-6 coats.
How many cans of Plastidip did you use in total on just the body panels please? I've got the previous generation Smart ForTwo and fancy doing a colour change. And you did 4 layers altogether yea?
Brooooo!!!! You just inspired me to PlastiDip my own Smart. I have a 2013 Yellow 451 with Black trim, its lowered with a body kit and stuff, with carbon fiber wrap on all the original black trim. Ive been wanting to make the rocker panels and the entire yellow rear end Matte Black to offset the carbon fiber trim and leave the doors and front end factory yellow... Im doin it now thanks to YOU 😎
Did you put something behind the grille to block the paint from getting onto the radiator? I found you can’t access that area without removing the entire front bumper and grille together but I didn’t see you have to deal with that here.
@@Joanh75 yes I know I removed all the front panels on an older model in like 30 min 😎 the problem here is that when ur painting a car you can’t paint the panels one by one because the paint will not match
Looks awesome! I love my Smart! They are so much fun!
It really is!
Wow that looks great I also have a smart car love it
Thanks man
One can per pass ................ wow! 👍
Hope you will do some more videos on the Smart car
I will

No I didn’t I don’t see the need the aerosol cans have low pressure I didn’t see the need of removing it plus I was spraying on an angle . ✌🏽

🧐🤔You do realize that one of you guys you about the panels off🤨
??
I read that sentence five times and it still makes no sense.
You do realize those are pop off Body panels. Probably the most easy panels to remove off of any car.
@@brianfreeman8290 😂 I know I was the same than I said Fawk it idk what he means 😆
