analyzing my subscribers' writing #4

  • We’re looking at some very unique writing today, sent to me by my subscribers :D I picked these samples because they are some of the strangest samples I’ve looked at thus far. Be nice to these people in the comments tho Bc these people asked to be roasted by me not the comments. Handwriting is very personal and no one should be made fun of for what theirs looks like. That being said, I love you!!! And thank you for subscribing!!!
    Also I mention it at the end of the vid but, if you have some handwriting that you want me to take a look at email it to handwritingforleah@gmail.com
    Also starting now, if you want your handwriting analyzed faster, I am doing that for a reasonable fee, just send it to that same email and we can discuss it further if you’re interested. I swear though I’m not trying to take your money!! I just know that some people really really want their writing analyzed and I want people to have that option if they are interested. This might end up being a limited time thing though, so This may change in the future. Thank you for understanding !!
    Also also- even though I’m not taking submissions on IG anymore you can still dm me if you have random questions or just wanna say hi :D @leah_eckardt
    Thank you thank you thank youuu

    On another note, if you're new to the channel, Welcome^-^ My name is Leah and I make videos on handwriting analysis and graphology :) I’m even looking into getting the certification to be a licensed graphologist so I have something tangible to prove my credibility because DISCLAIMER: I am not a licensed graphologist- YET. I just am obsessed with learning about graphology and I know probably more than I should about it. And if any gatekeepers in the comments want to criticize me for not being licensed, it costs a lot to get certified and the more I think about it, the more dumb I think that is. So if that bothers you that for the time being I’m not certified, you can go to another channel. You will be missed.

      Having learned recently that I have Autism, I'd like to contribute my thoughts on this difference in handwriting styles. I might describe my casual handwriting as Writing For Myself, which doesn't require much legibility, and my formal handwriting as Writing Legibly So That Others Can Read It Easily.
      Writing For Myself often requires more speed than proper form -- if I don't write fast enough, I might forget what it was that I wanted to write! Some of the Speedwriting symbols I learned in high school will often slip in for the sake of efficiency. I will sometimes use this form to scratch write my draft before making the legible copy that is intended for someone else to read. It might be comparable to the mess that happens on a kitchen countertop while cooking before bringing the presentation-plate to the table. ❤

    I should send in my handwriting eventually lmao, my hands and writing in general is kinda weird now that I think of it. I have Renauds syndrome (don’t know how to spell) which makes it so my blood flow in specifically my hands can stop when I’m really cold, and my hand muscles were so weak I had to go to occupational therapy for it despite never having injured them.
    My writings also pretty weird: apparently I was really impatient when I was younger and taught myself how to write (incorrectly forming letters when writing) so I had to learn cursive (again at hand therapy lmao) so now I write in this weird mix of cursive and print at the same time for some reason.
    Would probably be interesting to know exactly howww weird it is from a graphology standpoint. Maybe eventually lol.

    I want to say that the second sample looks like someone writing with their non-dominant hand with zero practice, perhaps they're a troll. If I tried to write with my non-dominant hand, that's pretty much what it would look like, for the simple reason that my non-dominant hand doesn't have a habit of writing with a pen. The handwriting with my dominant hand would look far different. I _could_ however write with it on a blackboard and the handwriting looks indistinguishable from the dominant hand on the same blackboard, so there's that...
    Once again, I'm glad to have subscribed. This is some really good, quality, content, and TH-cam's algorithm is awesome for helping me discover your channel.

      The part about using dominant vs non-dominant hand while standing at a blackboard/ whiteboard caught my attention. It was during high school that I noticed I was using my "wrong" hand while standing at the whiteboard, and that it felt just as natural as using my "correct" hand. I'm naturally left-handed, so writing with my literal right hand is actually writing with my wrong hand. I also remember reading about one of the former presidents who was naturally left-handed and normally wrote that way while seated, but he'd use his right hand while standing at a blackboard. I read it in a humorous book entitled something like, "The Natural Superiority of Being a Lefty."

    i thought you might like to know that though its not my field of expertise ,yet it makes total sense that their would be a recognised unifying pattern emotional states and attitudes of the person writing that is seen in the flow of the letters and how the subconscious is relating as a conscious emotional state of each word and letter being written. thus being able to see emotional changes in a letter through the way of the flow of the writing appears ,which might reveal in truth someone to be different than then might inaccurately describe themselves, for simple reason such as pride or denial perhaps, so either written left or or right hand the emotional pattern is reflected as a resonance reflected through the entire body, interestingly the same principal is applied to reading tracks such as human foot prints, where an expert tracker can see the same emotional responses translated through patterns that can be recognised in tracks, patterns such as love sadness confidence confusion contentment are all translate into the energy of the track that's left to read for those who know how.

    I am putting this out there There is no shame in having "bad" handwriting. Not everyone has the hand-eye coordination skills needed to attain this. I understand attempting and learning better practices to keep your writing nice however not everyone can. Nor do they need to have any kind of syndrom/mental problem to explain this. Saying they are younger is dumb, when you read a lot of doctors handwriting its very similar to theirs so please encourage nice handwriting not shit talk people.

    hi leah! knowing it's a little bit old video idk if you will read it, but (first!) i really like your videos! and (second), i tend to be very concerned about the people which handwriting is analysed by you (especially if the traits indicates having a bad time) and, when you end the case with a word of the person in question, it really is the "complete" analysis, you know? not just bc so then they can confirm your studies, but emotionally it is, to me, comforting in some way. makes me remember what i learn here better. in the case of you agreeing in adding their feedback when you can! it would be nice

    Hi! Big question! How does genetics influence handwriting? My dad had really rounded, slightly childish, but neat handwriting. He never wrote so I never saw anything from his writing. However, when comparing my handwriting to a note I recently found of his, we have very similar handwriting, especially r’s, L’s, both upper and lowercase i’s, and spacing inconsistencies. I never learned how to write from him, but write exactly like him, and yet my mother actually taught me to write and my handwriting ismy very similar to hers. I’d be happy to email writing comparisons! Also I love your videos so much, I’ve been binge watching them recently :)

    • @rebeccamay6420
      @rebeccamay6420 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I, too, find that several of my writing traits look like my father's handwriting, though I was not intentionally copying it. And I also see a lot of my mother's handwriting traits as well, also not from directly copying it. It may not be specifically "genetics," but perhaps as a result of having similar personalities.
      This sparks my curiosity! Would the handwriting of an adult who was adopted at a young age more resemble that of their natural parents or of their adoptive parents? @Leah, would this be a topic you'd be interested in covering?

    Hey Leah! I love your videos and recently got into graphology, I can’t seem to find an answer online but what does it mean when the slant changes a lot. (For example in a sentence it starts left slanted and gradually goes right slanted)

    • @rebeccamay6420
      @rebeccamay6420 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'll take a wild guess, based on having watched a few of Leah's videos. 😉 Starting with a leftward slant -- holding back, hesitant to express one's true self, suppressing. But also with shifting to an aggressive forward slant by the end of the sentence -- "Passive Agressive."
      Perhaps we will find Leah's take on it in a separate video.

    This is starting to make me worry about myself also what does it mean if you have a couple different writing styles?
    The way I write at school I have a reclined angle and I take longer to write
    At home and when I take notes or make list I have a very front toward facing angle and it is very hard to read.
    My handwriting is also not consistent and it changes a lot.

    • @rebeccamay6420
      @rebeccamay6420 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I wouldn't worry too much. Purpose and posture play a big role in what my handwriting looks like. When answering the phone at work, I grab my pen with my writing hand and the phone receiver with my other hand, I will write scribbles that almost look like words, speed over legibility, then during a slow point in the conversation, I might add clarification marks (that's a lower case "T" and not a lower case "L", put a dot above to indicate placement of a lower case "i", for example). For brief post-ie notes to coworkers, my writing is much more legible, a blend of print and script, taller, and with a mild forward slant. Most of my casual For-Myself writing is a blend of print and script, "Fluidity for Efficiency," and is remarkably similar to the Segoe handwriting font faces. For writing formal letters, I am more likely to write in typical/classic cursive and slow my hand to intentionally make the full lower case "g" instead of the fluid up-loop-down-loop that happens in my casual handwriting. It also depends on whether I'm seated or standing, and whether my (left) hand is hooked from above, coming straight in from the left, or approaching from below the base line.
      A professional graphologist might discern that samples of different types of my handwriting are from the same person, but to the casual observer, it might look like four or five different people wrote them.
      Hmm. 🤔 This has me curious about submitting a few different styles together for such an analysis.
