Irish and british unfortunatley are in the same boat. Our countries are full and the governments keep allowing in more and more. The rwanda plan allows 1 in for 1 out what use is that.

Ireland has been taking in record number of migrants for years, second only to Germany. These numbers were through the roof well before the Rwanda deal was even thought of. The Politicians now realise that the 'peasants are revolting' so need someone else to blame and who better than their old arch enemy - Britain !

What makes the most sense is for the Republic of Ireland to leave the EU, and form an economic union, not a political union, with the United Kingdom. The financial opportunities are massive, and because we are islands together, easily policed at the borders. We have had free movement between the Republic and the UK for generations. It worked. However, I fear that ancient prejudices may be the only reason that this will not happen. I am half English, and half Irish. This is my greatest wish.
