My husband ( in his 40’s) had fallen and was unconscious while we were out back in August. Over 5 hours for an ambulance, so we took him ourselves. 28 ambulances sat outside as no beds available. 12 hours in the waiting room before being seen. 36 hours in A & E corridor as no beds available. The doctors and nurses doing the best of a bad situation. There is no infrastructure to cope with all these people coming in.

This impacts me directly as I need to use the services of the hospital in Coventry. I’ve sat in A&E for hours with an elderly parent. It’s awful. It’s like a third world country.

Try and find out , but the numbers are well hidden , but , I would think the number would be substantial . Benefits paid out in 2023 /2024 , was £284.4 Billion , but , the Government class Pensions as Benefits , whether you worked and paid for them , or just get paid them .

It's so sad visiting seaside towns in the UK now as well, that I remember as a kid, that were vibrant and thriving where people from all backgrounds, for the majority of time, just got on with one another, that now look desolate and rundown. Even our memories of old holidays have been ruined. It's not just the white British who have a problem with this. I know many people from other backgrounds who see the problem, it's coming from a "particular demographic" that prefer not to integrate.
There are people coming into the country with deseases that have been previously irradicated in this country.If anyone comes in through legal routes they have to have medicals to obtain a visa.

My GP sent me to A&E the other day it was horrendous 50% foreigners taking the seats , the trolleys in the corridors was never ending day and night most of the ambulance crews were with their patients for hours so unable to do their job. I managed to get through a bit quicker as my heart rate was way to fast and I was liable to have a stroke at any time or I would probably still be there. Every member of staff who dealt with me was amazing they should not have this pressure put on them working in these conditions .I would have liked to see MPs on trolleys for a couple of days to see what it was really like.
