I made a train with two medium diesel engines (aka aircraft engine) and it works fine if not a bit underpowered when pulling more than 4 wagons. I used one large motor powered by 2 medium generators and it worked fine. Now I have a bug with one of the Arctic southern train yard switches and I can get my trains to the left part of the yard when looking from the fuel tank outwards. I'm going to use this tutorial to build a better train although I don't think small motors will do it. And I'll add some way to lift the train and carry it over the tracks.
I love your videos on storm works and iv watches just about all your advanced tutorials now but just double check your intro volume sometimes when I go video from video your volume is different each time so I keep blowing my eardrums from my headphones 😂😂
this is a great tutorial, me myself is trying to build a steam engine (specifically a FR K2 Class) and know nothing about how to build anything. i tried to make custom wheels and won't stay on the track, i haven't even attempted to make steam come out of the funnel and stuff. can you help me or make another tutorial please?
What do you recommend as a ratio for generators to electric engines? I've used 6 large generators with 6 large engines and gearboxes and could not sustain the draw of two large electric motors which i find rather unrealistic.
I use two small el.motors, powered directly by 1 medium generator (no battery needed). 1 large diesel powers the generator. I run a small engine to charge the battery for all other electrics.
would a train work if i had a generator powering the electric motors directly? I'm thinking about doing it like that because many diesel electric locomotives run like that and wanted to try it in game if no one else has.
Jet powered helicopter tutorial from the ground up? You’ve converted a heli before but haven’t started from scratch as far as I’m aware.
Correct, I haven't done a jet powered one before, Do have it on the list of videos so will be coming soon!!!
Oh yeah that’s gonna be useful!

“This one’s gonna be for the electric engine... if i can spell correctly.” *proceeds to spell Eletric engine and doesnt notice it*
2022 and it STILL WORKS! I hope this outdated tutorial never stops being successful.

Steam doesn't exist in the game and you can't make custom wheels.
hello! thank you for uploading this. needed it.
my setup with 2 basic diesel and around 8 small generators and some Gearboxes are enough to keep her powered. oh and Steam power ftw.
Its pretty much a car on rails :) still nice Tutorial:)
But that's basically what a train is Mr. Smart
You should do a tutorial on how to make a car!, great vid!
Awesome tutorial, you teach me something new with every video!

Merry Christmas everyone hope you all enjoy it
Thanks for the video
Nice video! Biggest fan!
Brilliant!
Awesome tutorial as always! Have you tried playing around with dynamic braking yet?
can you even do this ?
Amazing vid!!!!
Merry Christmas! Happy birthday to some people!
Make a anti slip micro controller tutorial please!
When I put the brake down it just reverse's, Is this normal?

huh,i just made simple train with jet engine))
is it the only way to reach speed over 60 m/s ??
@@lucapasqualinimine can reach 560m/s
How do you do that with the connections?
You connect something but you're still draging another connection. Tell me
Hold down cntr
@@MrNJersey Thanks man!
Eletric... Electric... google has decided... Electric, not Eletric
How do you change tracks?
MrNJersey 2 years ago: "Advance..." i dont think thats bri'ish
Guys there is no 1:3 ratio when I work with the gearbox.
They patch out of the gearbox and engine torque
What do you mean outdated
a jet train. thats the best train. 1k speed is veri guud for the game. i promise
My train caught on fire like 2 minutes later when I started driving it
Coolant and radiator ?
Add fluid tanks,
Mine explodes in the first five seconds

Should do

Hi
CiL
Dislectic engine
You smell of fish, not the bad fish though such as cod more like a stronger fish. A sturgeon perhaps.
Stan Taylor wtf
Stan Taylor yay the spamming in stream guy😂
Lol
He smells like pufferfish Xd
How do you switch tracks?
There is a button next to the signals in game
