    LOVE the old Isuzu Belletts. Whenever I see a Japanese 7-11 store I get excited, great east if on a budget. Al those OLD Toyopets @ 1:01 very nostalgic cars from my childhood in Tokyo in the early 1960s. That 3 wheeled pickup truck @ 1:19 also bringd back great childhood memories of cruising to Chiba with Dad to the grandparent's farm. LOVE that motor shot of the Datsun Bluebird 510 @ 2:51, those dual side-drafts look awesome! Thank you very much Daniel san for another great video. Do you ever see any old 1960's triangle tail lights Isuzu Bellels especially with diesel engines? They were popular as taxis back in my hanakuso daze.

      @wasabicars  5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Now I understand better. I lived in Fukuoka 2010-2012 and my wife is from Ehime. There is some reason that southern Kyushu has far more wasabi cars than anywhere else. I guess Hiroshima, Kobe, Osaka, and Gunma have been picked clean. The closest to your vids in seeing abandoned cars was Gunma, but not at all like the numbers of cars in your vids.

    • @wasabicars
      @wasabicars  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Edgar-Friendly 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@wasabicars This is true. Between 2013-2015, I would drive from Gunma to Ehime and back (yeah, that is some distance by Japanese standards!) and you will see some nice cars by the toll road. Of course, I have no idea which exist to get off and how to drive the several dozens of kilometers back to where they are parked.

    The '74 sprinter? Seeing one of those makes me wonder if the late 70's nissan violet copied the exterior?
    The earlier violet coup (that looks impossibly exotic ,to my eyes, having not seen one for years , although similar in profile the violet is more rounded in detaill but the sprinter obviously points to the early eighties.
    apart from American stuff, can anyone think of a Japanese car that pre dates the ' 74 in this style?

    • @wasabicars
      @wasabicars  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can't help. I don't know it you can call it copying when it's pretty standard to see similar styling cues emerge in the same period. Government regs, manufacturing trends, plus market demands meant similarities abound.
