The garbage truck on fire (1:37) disgorging its load is not a fail. That is standard operating procedure to push the load out so the fire dept can fight the fire. Those fires usually start due to chemicals combining, heating up and igniting.
i think the fail was the fire itself lol
Now days trash truck fires are often caused by improperly disposed of batteries, esp Lithium-ion type.
@@1nm1 You are right, but not just batteries, solvents, paints, epoxies and other chemicals when accidentally mixed cause an exothermic reactions, igniting the trash. My comment is that ejection of the burning trash is not a fail.
@@Shannon-ij1pm 100% correct. Far cheaper to pay a cleanup fee of $X thousand instead of having to get another trash truck that costs $XXX thousand. Not to mention tipping the burning trash out also makes it MUCH easier to put the fire out.

The garbage company in my town actually has the procedure that if the driver is close enough to the fire station, book it over there and dump whatever they got in the dirt lot we have nearby. Same thing of preferring the cleanup fee while also not getting in the way while waiting for cleanup.
As for the fire starting? I agree it's not a fail. Improper disposals, chemicals, and even intentional arson can cause those garbage truck fires. It's not fair to put the blame on the driver.
