these drums are the predecessor of the modern kettledrums or timpani. They were also used by musicians in the Near East, a by product of the silk road and no doubt how they found their way into western European classical music.
Its the "original beat" the flow of energy follows it. If you would be able to hear a fractal of creation this is what it would be. You can hear it in every song, in the whispers of the trees in the wind, in the drops of rain on your roof, recursive yet fractal in nature. "The Original Beat"
@@breannathompson3447 Just to be overly literal with your thought, the "cosmic microwave background" noise is probably closer to a fractal of creation, considering it actually is a fractal of the sound of the big bang but I like this beat better more human and impressive.
I have actually played with this master named Nathu G in pushar in india! I never forget. If you visit Pushar in india you will meet him at the same spot where he has been sitting for the past 35 years playing atleast 5 hours a day. He will jam with anyone who dares to play with him :)

राजस्थान में तख्तातोड़ की गायकी अब लुप्त होने जारही है।शेखावाटी के चिड़ावा के दूलजी राणा के साथ नक्कारची कमाल के थे।एकबार बचपन में सरदारशहर के अब्दुलजी को भी नक्कारची के रूप सुन व देख चुका हूं।ईधर मारवाड़ मे उगमरावजी भी तख्तातोड़ गायकी के मास्टर थे।बहुत प्राचीन वाद्य का यह क्लासिकल रूप है।
