It’s a fun lake. I grew up out there. I did film one video last November and I just filmed a real good one on labor day. It was one of the best days I’ve ever had on the lake. You’ll really like that one.
Another good day on Lake Houston showcasing those talents without electronics! Enjoy the show and the debrief at the end showing the type of baits you were using. Will keep on the lookout for the next video. Thanks for sharing. 👍

Awesome! I live right on Lake Houston and just got a boat. Went out yesterday just learning the boat & electronics and the lake / Luce Bayou. Next time I'm hoping I pull in some of these late summer bass
@@roth515 nice! It’s a good lake. Be careful navigating on it. It is pretty shallow and lots of sandbars all over the place. The good thing on Houston is you really don’t need electronics besides a map and depth at the console. You will. Typically September can be hit or miss but if it’s on you’ll hammer them! I've only been to Lake Houston once and launched way down on the south end at a pretty good sized park. Are there any accessible ramps for East Fork and Luces Bayou??
You possibly launched at Deussen park. Yes there are good 4 ramps that I know of. There is one off the 1960 bridge on the Huffman side that’s public. There is also one on the west side but not 100% sure if it’s public or private. There is Pondarosa in Luce’s but as of Labor Day the ramp was for sale! Ugh… not 100% sure of the future of the ramp but praying it stays open. Pondarosa in Luces Bayou. Unfortunately as of Monday it’s for sale. Not sure the future of the ramp. Hopefully it stays public. There aren’t many decent ramps on the lake.
On the lower end of the lake you need to concentrate on boat docks and what few coves there are on that south end. There is a couple of offshore structures that hold bass but there isn’t many of them. I found an old bridge one year that’s not even marked on any map.
