Hey girlie! Me and my husband moved here to the Katy area blindly without seeing our apartment in person lol!! We been here now for 2yrs and love it girl. We are from Florida. We packed up both cars during the pandemic and drove up here and moved straight into our apartment. We only told 3 people before we left and everyone else found out later after we moved here. This was a big faith move for us as well girl. Congratulations on your move here ❤

Whew I needed this! I was asking God for Confirmation on Where he needed me to go, and he just kept giving me Houston TX! So I am making my Plan Now to make the Move. I dont know How I am going to do it, But I am GOING!

I aine even have $50 to my name when I left Florida and on top off that, before signing my lease I was literally on suspension about to be terminated before I even came here to Texas but I still came and signed my lease and God has been providing for me every since then. I had unexpected money coming in. I literally took a leap of faith. God is most definitely real and will lead, guide, and provide.

This was me three years ago, I packed a suitcase for me and my daughter, with a overnight bag and I left, sold everything in my house, down to my car and we left, I love Houston and not looking back

I’m from Chicago and im planning my move in the next month, blindly, no job, car, jus me an my 2kids looking for a fresh start. I love Houston it’s such a vibe. The long roads, the culture, food, omg turkey leg hut fire 🔥 whataburger, breakfast club the only 3 spots I ate from last year when I visited. An fell in love … the club scenery is lit 🔥 the cost of living good but u will need a car in Texas baby u jus gotta pay valet for everything 😂but I don’t careeeeee I’m packing now. To go there good luck to all of us ladies n gents 🎉let’s all meet up ⬆️

Hi, I'm just coming across your channel. This video I am actually moving 2 Houston suburbs from Chicago suburbs. I do have my brother and sister. That lives out there so I will be able to see. My niece is a nephew, but I'm doing this for me. I'm grown grown And I'm ready for change new scenery and hopefully I do meet friends. Meet people. I gotta do this for me. And I don't have a job yet, but I have seen my apartment but that's what these shopping things are for I gotta do what I gotta do I do believe this is something God wanted me to do. i moved to Houston 2018 and I’m really excited and I’m 24 years old and I’m learning how to drive and get my dream car and me and my boyfriend are going to have a house together we are having two girl cats and I’m doing teaching and cooking and baking makeup learning new languages ☺️🫶🏻❤️😆
I moved to Houston alone as well only thing is I did have a career but I wasn’t where I wanted to be in my career but I still made it happen out here 🎉😊

I moved there in December alone and recently just had to move back because I rushed it. 😢 I plan on moving back the end of this year or the beginning of 2024 and being more strategic about how I go about it this time around.

I’ve been in Katy Texas 2 months I got an apartment and a job as well I took that leap of faith and went for it!! Yes I lived in Phoenix Az for 8 years not my cup tea anymore over priced now.

I’m moving to Dallas next year , I just started putting out job applications to see how long it would take to get a response so I know when to start “Hard-looking” it took about a month . Hopefully I can have a job lined up when I get there .

To live in? I recommend anywhere in the loop. I personally like the spring branch area but upper Kirby, heights, medical center, energy corridor. It can be expensive tho and def do lots of research

That would depend on your price range for rent.
Assuming rent is 1,500 18k-20k that’s a lot I would suggest the lowest 6-7k saved pay rent up for 6months
That’s just seem like a lot. I have no clue on how I can save n afford my life
@@staziab you can’t lower class to middle class Americans can’t save. Honestly the only way to do it is if you have kids and you file taxes. I’m not sure how single people do it unless they’re making about 100k because most apartments want 2-3x the rent. It’s sucks and it’s sad.
