In today's vlog, I'm sharing my testimony of how I moved to Houston as a single mom of two kids. I was approved for my luxury apartment despite being laid off, and not being able to find a job before moving.

Thank you for being obedient and even doing this video. Very similar situation but with 3 kiddos and have been torn between CO n TX. When you said KatyISD/Katy, TX, I almost hit the floor. That’s “exactly” (the only place) where I’ve been researching and just been praying fervently for answers/confirmation- then I saw this plus some other things. God told me to put him first and to strategize- and that’s what I’m doing!
So thank you for being obedient. This gives me encouragement. So glad to hear that you and the girls are doing well. Yes, God will provide!! He’s so amazing!

Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been thinking about moving so much lately. Not sure if it’s because of me going through so much negativity where I stay but it feels like I need a fresh start. I’m not sure if I’m completely ready though and I’ve been actually writing to God to just get it all out and ask for confirmation. My family sounds like yours when it comes to venturing out. It’s like everyone is stuck in this bubble and I’m the only one that wants to pop out.

I’m looking at moving to Texas in a few months. I have had so much loss here in SC. I’m a nurse so I definitely think I can find a job. I’m a divorced mom of 3 and I just feel like all my opportunities are drying up here in SC and I don’t know why. I feel like God is telling me to move my family but I guess I’m overthinking.
Don’t overthink! Have a solid plan but don’t think about the what ifs. You have to leave room for God to work
Sis, if you're feeling that out of the blue and it's a desire set in your heart, just start praying. If it's God, He'll start to confirm it and the desire will intensify. Keep praying, night and day, He'll answer you.

I am walking by faith by moving to Hollywood California. I honestly think it's what God wants. God has every state that he wants for a person who is moving in to start their life over. But the state he picked for me is Hollywood California and I know why he picked that state for me.

Girl now look here I was listening to your story and boom you mentioned that layoff I had to recenter my attention because God laid me off April 2024 knowing I was leaving July 2024 and I was asking God now where im suppose to go with no income hunni he showed me texas within a couple minutes after asking so I too am moving to texas in July me and my 4 children no severance package nothing at all didnt even pay the workers our last checks

Are there subsidized programs for daycares in Houston? I wish I can find an in depth video on how to find day care, medical insurance, and all that stuff when relocating to a new state. Also was wondering if you have a coparenting schedule now that you’re in a different state?

How were you able to move your kids? Did you have a custody agreement that allowed you to move across state lines. Currently trying to figure this out.
Hey girlie! I think i mentioned this but i have sole legal and physical custody of my child. But i still had to get the court sign off. If the dad agrees, he can just write a letter and get it notarized. If he don’t agree, yall can go to court and you have to prove why its best for the kids. But check with your state friend of the court too

Hey girly! workforce solutions is where you would get the application. It's a form you fill out and then send to them, to start the process. I'm telling you this because it wook me forever because I filled the wrong form out smh
