I'm confused. In this video it is stated that the red dots with gas bubbles are counted as coliform colonies. I have watched a different and that video stated that red dots with or without gas bubbles are counted as coliforms; which answer is factual?
Some 3m coliform petri films also test for e coli. Red and blue will develop after 24 hours with or without gas and that's coliform , 48 hours later just red will develop and that's e coli I use these in the lab I work in
