I knew it wouldn't be long before the Dodge Ram 1500 would give me trouble. Scanner showing codes P219A P0303 P0300

Update: It was a cam/lifter issue. Ended up selling the truck. Thanks for all the responses 👍
I did my own and I've known several people who also have done the cam/lifter combination. Get a programmer and step up the cam along with hellcat lifters. I also did the water pump, timing chain and upgraded my oil pump to the hellcat version. Good luck!

Would love an update. I have same codes. 2014 Ram 1500. Already changed plugs. Doing the coils now. Id like to hear more about the ECM swap.
Why is this not a recall? Seems every vehicle has this issue! It is a defect with cylinder 3 cam, and many videos and comments have the same issue
Not necessarily cylinder 3. I had a cylinder 4 with this issue.

For anybody wondering I had the same issue , I was checking for current on my injectors and there was no power to #1 ended up being the ecm for me

Going through this rn replaced spark plugs did a cleanse on the whole fuel system now idk what else to do

Try ECM before tearing the engine apart ecms another part that controls a spark to the plugs more than likely if are not hearing tapping

Having the same issue on my 2012 ram 1500 5.7 hemi with 107K on it. Replaced the spark plugs, boots, and the coil pack for the third cylinder. Probably end up taking it to the shop and see whats up.
Same I got a 2011 5.7 but mine is on cylinder 5
@@Chefnaee I just got my truck back from the shop about 2 weeks ago after them having it for about a month. It turned out it was a defect that's very common in these blocks. Cam shaft was worn down in one area and the lifter went bad as well. They said it was very common in these engines at about the 100k-110K mark. Luckily it was still under warranty so I didn't pay anything but the deductible of 100$.
@@bubba1is1awesome dang that’s good to know! I just changed my spark plugs and coils. And still piping up. My check engine light blinks and my truck will shake. I run the code and it keeps saying cylinder 5 miss fire. Time to take it to shop :/
@chefbuto mines is cylinder 1 and 8 I did everything and still having this problem Im thinking now maybe its a fuel pump
@@SoldierGaines-so2yg I thought that to, I changed the fuel injectors. And still having problems. Now my while is making a chirping sound hahaha did some research and yeah like everyone said it’s cam and lifters.
I had random misfires.changed plugs and coil packs.didnt change anything.changed the map sensor.fixed everything.
A bad map sensor could cause a misfire?

I had the same issue. I changed spark plugs, coils, and injectors. I ended up taking it to the shop. They replaced lifters and rockets. And the manifold gasket.

Not yet, I'll be doing more work on it tonight and posting a follow up video this week. Hoping it's just a bad injector.
