    This is so so so important and makes such an impact to someone living daily for their kids I realise I’m not alone.. I will share this with my son who is struggling with grief and depression as an autistic young man and needs to see a man open up like this X 🙏

    I can relate to every word he's saying. Not only talking, but expressing deep feelings helps the most for me. Depression is hiding feelings

    Ok this is great. So, he’s not talking about an isolated “problem” lol 😂 He’s talking about a whole culture every single human being here and anyone who’s ever looks up to it. So what’s the answer? As I’ve found it, Silence and isolation, no money or things, only trust. Seek first the kingdom. Nobody knows better then you. Fast from everything everyone and yes journal w everything you do without any shame. No you’re not gay, a sex object, anything this or that. You just know music and skateboarding is the best ever haha 😂 So what now? Create a whole complete lifestyle around this that isn’t dependent on being a liar to any degree. Be happiest alone. None of these people talking have a clue either because nobody does . Lives way more simple. Learn to camp ultralight . Be sincere always. We don’t have to even eat or drink, or talk to anyone. Family is the most destructive. We’re all one w everything

    This is great. Chris explains the way I have been living for 20 years. His explanation is so perfect that I want to share this video with every one I know so they can understand my mental health problems better.
    It's so reassuring to know that I'm not the only one who suffers in this way.
    Thank you for this video.

    Great video. Respect to everyone invloved in making this. Good to see Chris still skating with his unique style. I remember him from the mags back in the 90s because he wore different clothes and did the quirky tricks that i liked too. Love that line "Taking the talent you have and making skateboarding fun" - that's all it is in the end. Thanks for the honesty about anxiety and depression too, good to hear other people have the same thoughts and experiences that maybe we think are weird -Normalising these issues is important. keep on keepin on

  • @sarahdawson7985
    @sarahdawson7985 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Every part of this resonates with not only my experience, but my daughter’s and my son’s. The way Chris explains anxiety in particular feels so accessible and fresh which is in total juxtaposition to how the mental health conditions we face can often leave us feeling. I can’t thank him enough. X much much love. Please share if this helped you too. The more we speak about our mental health the better :)

    'wasn't that diverse...Cardiff was better...'. What's the problem with places filled with regular Welsh people? These 'diverse' urban centers all look the same. Beige, bland, EQUAL. Same mix of people imported by the state, same corporate outlets, same souless modern architecture and art, same intolerant hipsters who hate themselves and think they're being rebels when everything they conform to is handed down from the corporate elite. Personally I believe this 'progression' has links to mens' mental health problems. Chris is a very talented skateboarder though and I've appreciated his skills over the years.

      @sevenseas839 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If you grow up in a small ass village of course you're gonna wanna leave and go somewhere a bit more exciting this isn't a new concept and wtf is the 'same mix of people' by your standard in urban centres? You could say the exact same thing about people in more rural areas even more so I would say. I agree with the rest of what you said but dam that part was kinda dumb.

    • @themoog924
      @themoog924 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@sevenseas839 Same mix of people- Europeans, Africans, Arabs, Asians and a bit of everything in between. Each city used to have a unique character which its people brought to it. Now they all seem to be heading to look more and more the same. We are destroying diversity, not building it. I've lived in both types of area and have chose to live outside of any dense urban area and would like to live somewhere even more rural.

    • @themoog924
      @themoog924 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@sevenseas839 ...obviously there are less Europeans in these cities each year, so you'd expect the European character to disappear alongside the European people.
