ive been into acting for almost 3 years an actor is what i love, hope, and want to be. Like i would literally act scenarios everyday in the shower, when i'm getting ready for school, cooking, etc. I really want to be an actor but i don't live in the city, i don't know how to get an agent and don't really know if i could afford one. But it's one of my biggest dreams.

getting an agent is cheaper then you think agents takes a percentage off your payment after getting you a role in a movie like 10 or 20%

How much experience do u have? Do u think 2 years of training and like classes is often with some gigs my agent said I should be good since I actually when to school and classes for it
This video was super helpful! I’m 14 and looking to be an actor, do you have any advice or experience on how acting should feel. Maybe you could do a video about how you feel when you’re acting, during many emotions. For example, should you actually feel sad when you’re doing a sad scene? Or should you still feel the same and find it as fun since you’re playing a role. Thank you for this video! Have a great day/whenever you’re reading this!

Wait I have a question, All the Agent sites you linked and The top 3 in my area i found, All have No way to sign up
Each one has the same thing, just a description of who they are.. Do you have to just hit the contact button, what happens from their , will they just ask me to send them stuff at first, how does it work , what do you tell them when you contact them
This is literally my first time getting into this and I want to know when you do those self tapes how do you send them in do you record them like on your phone or on a video camera and put them on a DVD and send them in or do you do it like through a email how do you exactly send those in and what form do you send them in?

Hi, thanks for watching! I use Cast It Talent for open casting calls or talent searches where you do not pay any fees to submit.

Hi so I am very interested in acting and want to audition...the problem is that I am from Germany and our film industry is shit like if you start as an actor here you have not really a chance to play in another country(lmao I hope you know what I mean).So if I would audition and would be casted would the film company pay my flight etc.? Or do I have to pay that?😅If you know it I would appreciate an answer thx :)

When you are filming an audition tape, what if there is no one who can say the lines back to you??
It is highly recommended that you have a reader with you when you tape auditions. This person does not have to be an actor.

I just send my first self tape but im kinda now crying cause i think that i looked too far from the lens and idk what to do...(like i filmed as if the person was actually there but then i saw a bunch of videos and said that you have to look a little bit close to the lens i screw it up 😭) wished i saw this before sending it
Hi Mili, don’t feel bad. I made similar and A LOT of other mistakes when I started to audition too. That’s just how we get better at it. At least now you know what to do for next time. All the best!

How hard or easy is it to find a legit agent? Also my next question is when you do these scripts is it okay to have someone reading off as you respond?

Of course there's a way to practice acting, you know how to talk right? :-) So practice... Call a group of friends to play serious roles or find those in film schools and ask to practice. Self practice. There's no formula to this. You simply have to get out there and just do it :-)

I'm kinda confused on one thing
I don't have an agent but no matter where you live you can audition for anything right???? I think? Like let's say I Submitted a Recorded auditioned for a movie in LA and lived in Texas or something couldn't I just fly to LA if I got the part?
Iv been wanting to be a actor since I was 12 but my parents never had hope In me but still let me have my dream, I'm trying to prove them wrong but I'm still confused on some things so if you could answer my question that would help a bunch!

Find an agent in your area. It helps if you’re located in/near cities that are hubs for productions like LA, New York, Atlanta, Vancouver or Toronto. There should be a list of registered (legitimate) agencies. For Vancouver, it is on the UBCP (actors’ union here in Vancouver) website. You’ll have to do some research for your area. Hope this helps!

If you’re talking about open calls through Cast It Talent, you normally submit your audition tape (and the rest of your application) through their website.

I'm a 12-year-old girl and haven't had any acting experience like going to drama club or anything but I really want to get a role in a film or tv show I don't mind how small it is I can just be an extra or something, but I can't pay for cast it or any of those services.
