Today, I had the pleasure of seeing a 1 year old baby girl who was referred from her family doctor for a "wart". After taking a closer look, I was amazed to find something that shouldn't be there.
This was definitely an amazing case and was certainly surprised to see what came out. I am just so happy this young beautiful girl was safe and no further damage occurred.
    Love,
    The Toe Bro
PS...I would love to come visit all of you, but for now could you help me start with these 5 cities??? :$ Let's make this ToeBro Tour 2018 come true!!!

But actually, we should be able to expect compassion, kindness, patience, and competency from all of our providers. The doctors who blow off the patient and guess it's a wart because they don't want to hear the toddler cry, should be the exception to the rule. Playing and distracting is so much calmer and easier for the child as well as having a fab doctor who actually talks and has a conversation with the child and not ignoring her and just talking to mum! Fab video on how treating a child should be! Well done! Brace girl!

I used to work in the infant room at a daycare. I taught a few how to walk. One girl I will never forget. She would scream anytime she got up and her feet flat on the ground.(with my assistance). I had to very gently suggest to parents that she might have something medically wrong. Turns out, she was just a shy, spoiled, drama queen 😅. Sweet girl was Soo afraid of failure she would just give up. She always got extra Lovins from me after. To encourage her to walk more, I'd make her walk to her high chair with me. If she wanted a toy across the room, I'd tell her, stand up! She'd cry and cry even with my help. But it worked!

That horror when you drop the glass and can't find it again. I ended up with the same piece of glass stuck in my foot twice when I was a kid. Fortunately my dad was still there with the tweezers to fish it out again. 🤦‍♀️

I'd like to clarify my statement on pediatric medicine. It takes a special individual to work with children in medicine. First, it's difficult seeing a child ill. Second, your not only treating the child your also treating the parents etc... The primary patient is the child and many times a child can't express themselves and the parents do. This often is frustrating for the medical professional. In addition, the child does not fully comprehend what is happening. The doctor isn't interacting with one patient it's two etc... The bedside manner of the Toe Bro is excellent and this is extremely important in the medical field. Pediatric medicine is difficult and it's not as easy as it looks. Those individuals in pediatric medicine should get paid a greater amount, it's a specialty and the child has a different physiology than an adult. Also, a tremendous amount of energy is extended in psychology, an important role in treating the entire family, in pediatric medicine.

I had glass like that in my finger, every time I tried to get it with tweezers it cut more... So painful! Such evil little slivers. Again, super job getting it out fast and clean! There was no way to do that without hurting a little and much better to be gone. I love how you reassured Mum too, and gave her good positive feedback. I am in awe again at your diligence and skill.
