  • Fishing for Redfish with tons of tips and tactics I use to catch marsh redfish. In this video I head out in the marsh in search of redfish with a few artificial lures. The lures I use for redfish are the ‪@BuggsFishing‬ Ned Bug and the Yozuri Wakebait. I also discuss how to catch these redfish with different tips I often use out on the water. Inshore fishing can be a blast especially when targeting redfish. I hope these saltwater, inshore fishing tips for redfish are useful to you all on the water!

    still the best channel out there!
    the knowledge, the fish caught, all the above. Southern Salt is the only TH-cam fishing videos I watch and can watch all the way through.

    Boom! Great video again brother! I can’t help but wonder if that first redfish was swimming with a “gangsta lean” since it didn’t have a fin! Lol! Great to see the Wakebait putting in work! It’s my favorite bait in dirty water!!!

    I've never caught one before. Should a beginner use live shrimp or a lure in the marsh?

    • @southernsalt
      @southernsalt  ปีที่แล้ว

      Me personally I would say learn on lures. Those fish are out there and they’ll eat them. Just cover a lot of ground and start learning.

      Please remember at the beginning, you might have to cast a hundred cast to get one bite. Then you also practice to cast accurately to put your plastic lure to where the fish located at that time. Most of the time , you have only few second to cast when the opportunity presents itself because the fish is on constantly moving. So, if you are not ready or quick then you will lose the opportunity.
