Bulova is finally putting their sweeping movements in mostly normal watches. So many of the previous models were over-elaborate chronographs, which aren’t bad per se, they’re just not everyday picks for a lot of folks. Between these Super Seville and the divers (which are also just now getting more standard colorways), I’m intrigued by where Bulova is headed. With this in particular, I like how it does something pretty different with some familiar Datejust design elements like the fluted bezel and cyclops. What if those designs were on an integrated bracelet watch with a TV dial? The result is something which feels like itself. Add in that unique movement, and the final watch seems pretty special.
"This is the perfect size for this watch in my opinion, based on... facts" is a quote Ron Burgundy would be proud of! I actually think that's a very nice - unusual but not to the extent that it's too much - looking watch.
Same. Most accurate watch I have ever owned. I have an older Precisionist 97B110, and it's constantly running fast by about 10 seconds a month. Lovely watch, but they have really nailed down the accuracy now.
Changing the battery 6 times in 6 years is not so bad when you compare it to getting an automatic watch serviced once every 6 years. It's a heck of a lot cheaper and you don't have to wait months for it to be done.
Another cool looking watch. 30 meter? is there a difference between 30 and 50 meter? I wonder why they can not do at least 100 with screw down crown which isn't a difficult thing... Just wonder. The green dial is the killer and I should get a watch with that type of green dial. Very nice! thanks for the review, Rob
great looking watch! but will looks huge on any wrist with those 25mm lugs on the bracelet. and square watches wear always bigger too, so 34 or 36 would be much better imo. that's what stops me to order one and 30m. wr
This is the third Bulova video I've seen today. Apparently, I've been mispronouncing "Bulova" for the last 60 years. I say, Bull-a-va. TH-camrs say, Bul-LOVA. Bul-LOVA is LAME.
@@baldilocks1914 I didn't like the bracket compared to the PRX. It's lighter. It became a plus after wearing it after a while actually. I like the fact that it's not heavy. Biggest plus for me is the movement. It has the sweeping of an automatic and I don't have to worry about it. Also, I really like the fluted bezel. I got a lot of compliments

I have the red Jetstar with this movement. It's only gained 2 seconds in 6 months. Incredible.

Love this series from Balova
Def a cool piece need to add a green dial to the collection this may be it .
60% of the time RR is right every time
Gorgeous watch.
just got this.. Love this one...
That 262kHz is accurate to 5-10s a year ! Not a month.
My red Bulova JetStar is out about a second in three months.
10 seconds a month is what you get with a normal quartz, this is a 10 seconds a year.
Fluted bezel, Fluted Bezel, Cyclops, Cyclops, where have I seen those before? Wait, Wait, don't tell me, it will come to me.
I definitely want a TV watch, and it's down to this in green or gold or new the Timex 1983 E Line reissue.
The Mido big date one is pretty sweet too but a bit more expensive
Love it but wish it had a different clasp.
Same
I'm tempted

Need a round dial version of this with the fluted bezel and a cathdral hand set. No date or avoid cyclops atleast.
You want them to come to your house and tuck you in at night, too?

Isn’t Lafayette where Purdue is? Or West Lafayette?
West.

Super seville is battery operated only?
How about this and the JLC true second for a 2 piece haha
Link in the description doesn't work...
I really wish nobody pointed out that "262 kHz" font. 👀. Nice watch though.
I’d argue battery life more like 2-3 years. I’ve had my Lunar Pilot over 18 months and no signs of the battery even beginning to drain 🤷♂️
I like it
It's per year not per month.
Sold out. Haha.
Prx is $400 and better quality
Bulova is out of their mind $695
With a cheap bracelet lol
You're 100% correct. Bracelet is so cheap, I'm returning mine.
Even the PRX is over priced for using plastic components.
The PRX quartz is a good deal. In my opinion better than the automatic as the original 70s version was quartz so it fits.
@russellpotts3069 No sweeping second hand on the PRX quartz, I assume?
@@Norvik_-ug3ge I don't think so
Mido tv big date is better, IMO.
Date 👍🏻, Résistance à l'eau 30m 👎🏻
Why no solar?

The bracelet is horrible. I returned mine because of it.
What was wrong with it? On the fence about buying this. Thanks
@ I didn't return it finally. I wore it one more day and I started liking it. It's my favorite watch now.
@@baldilocks1914 I didnt return it. I ended up liking it and i think its better than the PRX I have
@ what didn’t you initially not like about it I’m curious?
