One advanced tip is to combine the 12-week planning with a daily review habit, where you reflect on your progress and adjust your actions for the next day. This helps to maintain a laser focus on your goals and adapt quickly to any changes.

Totally agree. That’s probably the best way to do it, but i find it a little overwhelming.
An easier way is to choose a day of the week (I chose Sunday) to reflect on what I managed to achieve the past 7 days.

    Great video. Thanks a lot!!!
    My notes -
Knowledge is not an issue but execution.
    Planning and exeution.
Its not what yiu know, or who you know, its what you execute.
    Key insights
    1. Periodization
    2. Redefining the year.
    3. The emotional connect
    4. The execution system.
    1. Periodization
    Principles: Focus, concentration, overload
    Think => Action(daily) => Result(long term)
    2. Redefining the year.
    No urgency? Too late.
    Set short term ambitious goals.
Instead of 12 months, set ambitious 12 weeks goals!!!
    Take a break, celebrate, reengage.
    3. The emotional connect
Tie short term action to vision.
    Professional and personal goal.
Without emotional conenct you cant do important tasks with discomfort.
    Ignore short term discomfort.
Neuroplasticity: Your brain can change anytime you want.
    4. The execution system.
    1. Vision => 5 to 15 years goal. (look at it everyday at start of your day)
    2. Goal + tactics (short term like 12 weeks for next 3 years)
    Weekly and daily actions.
    3. Controlling the process => Weekly plan(action broken by due date), peer support(weekly accountable meetings), progress measures.(review progress)
    4. Confronting the truth => Scoring: Buidling sef esteem + Confidense, tracking will make you accountable.

I've been doing this for a while now, well over a year and what's helped me tremendously when getting the daily tasks down to something that was actually beneficial was this:
Reverse engineering my 12 week goal into benchmarks that I need to hit each month. What benchmarks do I need to hit each week to hit the monthly ones, and then really think about the daily tasks that will get me to the weekly goal.
Also, sometimes the tasks just don't work out the way I thought they would, and then it's time for me to reassess my strategies and find better ones for the rest of the year.
    Very sweet video indeed.

I have never read this book. However, whenever taking a professional certification exam, I give myself 12 weeks to study. I will schedule the exam three months out, then create and execute a study plan. This has been highly successful for me for almost 10 years because that "soft deadline" that seems so far away will not light the fire under your rear to do the work. So, this video really resonates with me. Subscribed.

“Behind every impossible achievement is a dreamer of impossible dreams”. I love this because the human species wouldn’t be where we are today without people who were willing to chase the “impossible”. As a software developer this reminds me of the two approaches to software development. The waterfall method vs the agile method. The waterfall method is one long cycle where you have a planning phase, a design phase, implementation, testing and then maintenance. It's a more straight-line approach that you pass through once. With an agile approach, you have that same cycle of planning, design, implementation, and testing but in shorter, repeatable cycles called sprints. The agile method is much better (imo) because you have smaller sets of goals and work items and can adapt to problems/changes.

I was searching for a feeling of purpose, being appreciated, being loved in many different wrong places such as career achievements, clubs, others’ opinions, etc. I worked hard for many years to graduate and have a stable high paying job and acquired most of the materialistic pursuits I’ve ever wanted but that spike of happiness didn’t last until I had enough and started to ask myself many existential questions that truly make this life matters and that’s when I got out of severe depression and actually experience how it is to be fully alive rather that being like a puppet and just let my life pass me by. I'd just like to say that I've seen this pop up in my feed when we were on a break.
But to actually give feedback, I will say this is a really good video, but it only shows for me how different people are. Maybe I am "type b" (had to google these, way less known than you think), but for example I've learn that too much tracking of things only gets me much less productive. All these systems are great, but whenever it involved extensive planning, I know planning is the only time I will touch the project. I've been down that road. Which is weird for me to say since I've always been the type that likes to have my week roughly scheduled in my head and can't change it when people ask me, but when it comes to having a calendar or daily tasks, "score", that would be such a chore for me to keep up. I get much more done by just carrying everything in my head.
The thing that made me really try more to "achieve the life I am capable of" is just the dread of my age and years passing by.

I used to think the same way, and do the same thing. Spend lots of time organizing and even finding new tools for productivity without ever actually DOING anything. I've found it's just an excuse personally. Using ticktick, which is nice and simplistic, and doesn't encourage a bazillion subtasks and structuring, is what finally worked for me. You just dump all your tasks into a list, and then put due dates and tags on them. Then you're done, they're on your calendar, so leave it alone lol

Totally agree, just saw this video today on my YT home feed. You have a talent for explaining & simplifying things on paper (with good drawing and writing). The visual + audio summary helps people retain info longer. I think when the video content is good it makes a 9 min video seem like it was only 4 min long. 👍 Look forward to browsing through your other videos.

Where you’re born, who you know, and how you look is way more important in life as far as being “successful” than anything else. This is an indisputable fact no matter what ways people use to deny it and cope. With that said, do the best with the hand your dealt, and if you work hard enough you can still be relatively successful in many places.
