It's not like you sat next to the other driver for 5 miles. The entire overtake was less than a minute. Van definitely seemed to have an unnecessary tantrum
Most drivers indicate and pull out at the same time giving no warning of a manoeuvre. Maybe that is what pished the van driver off?
Seriously I've had that red van do the same to me around that area where the butty van is. Seen him do it to someone towing a caravan too. He obviously has an issue with his incredibly small manhood. If I get him on cam on my new TH-cam channel I'll tag you so we can name and shame :)

It’s our fault van drivers act this way just because we slowly overtake other vehicles. It’s our fault because we’re slow moving vehicles. I've had that Barry on a normal road, they brake cheak you then come to a stop, you go around them, they accelerate and you cannot get past them, absolute idiot's, this is very dangerous as well, always have my dash cam running, it leaves you on the wrong side of the road

The van can only do 60mph legally on there anyway and your 55 so 5mph speed difference, shouldn't cause him no bother what so ever, but most vans do 70+ anyway on the dual carriageways.

Another example of impatient, inconsiderate, stupid driving by the knob in the van.If he'd done an assessment of the WHOLE situation, he'd have realised the truck driver made best possible speed to overtake, get back into lane 1 and allow the van to pass as soon as possible. Brake checking an HGV is NOT a good idea, you'll probab;y end up with a smashed van, possible injuries and a date in court for dangerous driving. Van driver's a knob.
All I can say to the van driver is, trying living near Dover when the ships unload. It’s like whacky races.
There was a no overtaking sign on the first hill out of the town on the A20, but they removed it because it was totally ignored. The Police only ever stopped UK lorries anyway.

People get awful upset about having to adjust their speed.
Here where I live, what the red van did is considered a criminal offence, with a heavy fine and up to 3 years in prison. But people still do it.

I knew John Kettle when I was a young lad. He used to have a recording studio at the bottom of Darlington street, by the magistrates court, at what is now a Liddle supermarket. The band I was in on drums at the time recorded some demo tracks there for a little album and John recorded and produced it all. I would have been about 18 years old at the time, so it would have been about the back end of 1994 to 1995 ish. A good bloke was John, I've not seen him in years tho.

Yes, the van driver was in a rush to get somewhere, annoyed because he thought the truck held him up then proceeds to play clever with slowing down in front, thus delaying himself. I really don’t get the mentality, there is no logic to it whatsoever. I see this so often, wow, immature or what.

After 50yrs of driving I have seen HGV.s overtaking HGV.s because they are 1 mph faster and with no consideration at all for other road user will attempt to overtake which holds up other road users for miles and miles. Another favourite of the self called proffesional drivers is to TAILGATE so close you cant help but be concerned. These idiots should not be behind the wheel of any HGV. FACT
