I had a tightey one the other week, missed the turn for the B645 Hail Weston near St Neots off the A1 - I had a drop to do the other side of Kimbolton. I do blame myself in hindsight, but the sat nav directed me to it - ignoring what was the original A45 towards Northampton and the midlands and plumping for a 7' wide tree lined track going through a ford with 2 feet of water flowing and some tight bends - eyy - not a scratch lad! 14'6 trailer an' all! :)

Don't knock the shunts! I've been doing this job 38 years, and sometimes I can get it straight on in one, then other times five shunts?! When you're as old as me with four million miles under your belt, who gives a fuck about shunts onto a bay?!!! 😂

Shit week for me this week like! Tight reverse in berwick (with a 4.8m wide load) (movement order and residents parking suspensions all in order) pulled a tyre off the bead for starters! Fitter managed to get it to 30psi and run behind me back to newcastle! Went to pick a 16 ton loading shovel up in sunderland to take to preston! Waited 2 hrs for bloke to open yard! He turned up and told me basicaly no banksman do it yaself! Anyway, yesterday, took a curtainside down to moderna shitting it all day i was gunna b too late to tip! Got tipped thank the lord! Only contracted to work half day fridays but woke up 4.30am oxford servs! On road 5am! Back in newcastle 11am! Pissin about wi trailers and politics didnt get away til half3!! Anyways! Have a gud weekend! Same again next week! 👍🤣

Where you based drive? You sound local to me. I can always get where I want to get it (so far) but sometimes it takes me a while. I hate being watched unless the onlookers are helping spot and stood where I can see or got big gobs. Rooky needing some tips on doing it quicker with less shunts, I know positioning is the answer and not over steering, but I tend to over bend towards good side because I can see what I may hit! Had class 1 for 18months now, but not worked fulltime due to insurance issue of new pass.

Your nowhere near the new SAS camp the place you are thinking about is a training facility just before your destination not the camp. There is a train and plane on site there where they used to practice storming hijack situations etc. Yes I’m a local yokel we are indeed a City and Leominster is pronounced Lempster to locals. Love the video’s, I sort of just discovered you as you were packing in the driving vids but glad to see they have recently started to reappear.
