There is no point in that truck having a back seat. Who in the world would want to sit back there and have your knees banging into metal shocks on the back of the front seats, if there was even room to sit in the back.
I was set on getting a 24 TRD Pro during the initial teases. Once the full reveal came out, however, I was so disappointed. It’s wasn’t the styling or even the move to a hybrid turbo four banger that disappointed me. It was the price and the lack of backseat room for passengers. I’d rather save a significant amount of money and buy a Ranger Raptor that can fit people in the backseats.
How would the Pro compare on twisty roads at high speed? I drove the TRD offroad w the hybrid engine and that felt good but I'm curious if the Pro would feel more or less nimble on the road
AMD wasn't happy with the build quality. Nor am I. Rock sliders mounted to the body? Garbage turbo-4. It's looks cool. Not 65,000+ cool. Toyota is going down a bad path
You don't know what you are talking about the 4 cylinder turbo is so much better then the 3rd generation that bad transmission and that no torque 3.5 V-6 engine
@@davidchenette1091 I've driven both. So, experience dictates. An off-road truck shouldn't be as complicated as a hybrid turbo-4 out on the trail. Simple is better. This is an aggressive looking mall-crawler.
That back seat is a freaking joke. 100% dealbreaker

$65k for a truck with an iffy engine, no thanks. Get the previous gen.
@@mordant221 3rd gen prices about to skyrocket
@@MrCovert23 exactly. Might as well just go with a Nissan Frontier 22 or up
No V6 and to much good bye toyota said
They should offer the front seats as an option. Use the ones from the trailhunter as standard. This way you ca carry passengers if you wanted to.

Or.... buy a 22 TRD Off-road. Got me one, V6 with a 6 speed. It's my forever truck. The '24...nope. That's a 15 year truck. At best.
Beautiful truck! Toyota guys love to hate their own brand. Let’s see how it holds up in the next few years. These trucks are fun to drive for sure.
my 2008 Yaris had more backseat room. this is a joke
$65 Gs and the back seat is decoration. Is Toyota serious?
The 65k 4 popper taco that literally nobody asked for.
40k truck

Overpriced
Worst purchase a middle class person can make … ridiculously overpriced and Toyota can no longer hang its hat on reliability
Hi,can we collaborate on 2024 Tacoma accessories about your TH-cam?
This truck is worth at MOST $50k-$55k
$40
It doesn't look that cool! Give me a raptor any day!

@@jahmanborneo1343The turbo 4 is better than the V6 but yeah midsized trucks, especially Toyotas suck
