People also like to ignore that what the DA has achieved in the Western Cape has been done with a hostile national government. If we get the right people in power, this country will finally have access to its inherent potential and the Rand would literally strengthen overnight. If SA chooses the ANC, EFF, or MK, or a combination thereof, the opposite will happen and the country's future prosperity will go out the window. You've got to give extra thanks to the BEE "contractors" that the municipalities hire to complete these projects. At least half of all the money will be in their personal bank accounts 👍 And let's not forget the kickbacks going to whoever hired them....
This happens everywhere, we have a facilities in Giyani, limpopo that have been incomplete for more than 10 years. At the High school I attended, there was a little contraction on the sports field that happened for a week and left abandoned, then only thing they got is grass that we never played on even.
All these so called contractors should be flagged for being horrible business people, investigated to the root source of the problem and the person that gave them that tender and arrest for misusing tax payers money.

Besides overpricing the biggest issue here is maintenance. You cant build infrastructure & not have a maintenance plan in place. Another issue is community members destroying public infrastructure.
We need to help the multi-charter party get more votes. Locals be brave. Do your duty to SA find those that have lost hope and tell them there is still time to turn this around. Keyboard warriors share the news. It's gonna take all of us to get the ANC out!
People complain, but they ultimately approve of the status quo with their vote, or choice not to vote. The scary part is, more than 40% of the electorate want more of the same, i.e., a stagnating economy, diminishing employment opportunities, higher inflation, lower living standards, more crime, etc.

In just 24 days black South Africans will vote to keep the ANC in power. I think the ANC should get another 50 years. That will roughly equal the amount of time apartheid was in operation. Only then can we make an accurate assessment of the ANC.
The governing parties/individuals who appoint contractors and are supposed to practice oversite should be held financially responsible in their personal capacities for any amounts over budget. The most competent contractors will then be appointed out of fear of personal fiancial loss even if these politicians dont care about anything else.
I'd love to see you embrace our African languages more in interviews cause that Afrikaans host is no shy when it comes to speaking her language, so please do more in your African language
