Robert may not have completed his LLB but he carried that training into his media career, he reasons like an advocate, thorough research skills, articulate, persuasive, deliberate and incisive, an advocate for sport. Always a pleasure to listen to and a great inspiration.
This interview will be going down to the history book of well prepared, informative let alone educative interviews of all times.Big up MacG and the team for bringing Mahluputhu through.Robert knows his worth.
When Robert Marawa said that the person who criticized him made him a better and better person, those are POWERFUL words um so motivated by what he said"what does not kill you makes you STRONGER"🙏🙏 the guy is humble indeed 👏👏👍
This is how interviews should be. No PR, no bad mouthing people, clean language, can take the puns I can go on and on. Bravo guys, and bravo to Marawa the legend. Bhut’Themba. This interview must hit a million views before November guys
I absolutely agree with Robert - What BUSINESS STRATEGY informed the SABC that taking MamNoxolo off air would bring the numbers? What DATA informed that?! Roberts rate card itself shows the ROI he was contributing to SABCs balance statement. Experience and credibility are what makes a brand have longevity. Love and Respect Robert so much!!
If u are able to get these kind of people in your podcast, you have literally made it in life. Is as if these legends are now competing against each other to be in this podcast.
Robert ukhipha amafiles and we are here for that....his HONESTY and exposing the shenanigans that happen in broadcasting with the influence of 3rd force (inyawu lemfene)🙌🏿
Best interview for me in a while. Bathong, Robert Marawa exucedes confidence, o na le seriti, o charismatic...overall I am impressed both by the interview and the interviewee.
I don’t know man but this podcast really makes me happy. I appreciate Mr Robert Marawa he respects Mac G and sees the vision and wants him to propel even further 🙏🏾
This interviewer looks young, but is so skilled at his job. He has the cadence down perfectly. Rapport, relate to subject, ask the open ended question, provide context, repeat. Great job.
There are people whose stories move you because of their journeys. And then there are people who could be talking about the process of paint drying and it could still be thee most captivating thing in the world to listen to, simply because they are the ones telling the stories. Marawa is the embodiment of both ♥️
I was kanda disappointed coz I expected the t'bo touch interview. But then this was the best interview I've listened to so far. EVER coz I'm a big sports fan🔥🔥🔥
And to think he got fired for speaking up against female sexual harrassment in the workplace? He could have turned a blind eye, heck he could have joined the cabal, instead he chose to speak up. We need more men like him!
When me and my peers finally take over SA to fix it for the better, I’ll definitely recommend Rob as a potential CEO for the SABC. He will do a sterling job and take African broadcasting to the international heights it deserves 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank God this interview was not aired on Channel O. We needed the full story. MacG is giving us truly the best unfiltered interviews. Uncle Rob is a legend
This month we have been blessed with such great quests . We truly are appreciative of this. . One of my best broadcasters in South African. Great one team
This has got to be my favourite episode since I became a chiller this year. Israel Zulu was my favourite but this was top class. The chemistry between him and MacG is so good
MACG is such a fan of Rob, it was so clear, entertaining episode indeed, for the first time I saw MACG on his best behavior asking necessary questions and staying in his lane, in a good way 🤣😂
Can't believe it went on for over 2 hours and still felt like 30 minutes. The man is legendary, also has that funny element with him that I think most people didn't think he had. Oh is he not a charmer 😅😅😅😅. We love him man
Talk about Black Excellent and celebrating the people who did it against all odds and sharing some of their life lessons. This is getting bigger, better, brighter and colourful by a week and like I said before we should invest in it and own a piece of the cake bitter or sweet.
I love it every time Mac says “Take that out, Mash.” and Mash doesn't take it out. We love it Mash, It's for the sake of the podcast. Thank you guys for this beautiful Interview guys. It's so refreshing to watch you interview one of the best interviewers on the land. 🙏🏾❤️💐

Wow something for us sport fanatics, so much respect for Sir Robert Marawa i listened to his sport show for over 10 years, i got introduced to radio by him when i was still in school around 2007, i even went on to study Sport Management coz of him, much respect legend beyond measure, the GOAT in SA sport broadcasting by a long shot❤️🙌
That Mi Casa story gave me goose bumps. Another classic interview in the books!!!!Marawa is a class act who has done so much for sports in South Africa.
when i started watching this 2 hours ago it was sitting on 94K, now its on 110K, just tells you so much about the man. i wanna thank him not only for the memories but for changing people's lives.
This is one of the dopest interviews ever!! I never knew uncle Robert had so much sense of humour in him....never really judge a book by its cover, I just never thought he'd be so cool. I just thought he was one of those traditional guys who like things done and said in certain ways, I really boxed his personality and I was so wrong....I'm now a fan. Another thing I wanna say is I love the support these OGs and presidents of the game are giving Macgyver it's so inspirational for such a giant to show up on this podcast and humbly share with us his experiences
Back when I was in secondary school we took a trip to Auckland Park to tour SABC. I saw Robert Marawa coming up the escalators, him and I made eye contact and he sort of pulled his Nike cap towards his face as to avoid being seen by all the other pupils. But as he walked closer to us, I yelled "Hei Robert!". He looked back at me and my team and nodded his head. It was not until then the whole team recognized him. I will never forget that moment. It was so cool to learn about his upbring, so relatable.
Bra Robert Marawa, thank you so so much for coming to do this interview bare and giving us the young black people of the country an inside look into your life. This is the documentation of black history as we’ve never had before. Podcast and Chill, wow thank you so much guys ❤️❤️❤️
Robert may not have completed his LLB but he carried that training into his media career, he reasons like an advocate, thorough research skills, articulate, persuasive, deliberate and incisive, an advocate for sport. Always a pleasure to listen to and a great inspiration.

I love how hearty MAcG's laughter is ,almost like a worry free child. We gotta protect this kid though he is bringing us quality.
I think you just found his magic. We pray he keeps it.
I love how he didn't need any time to prepare for his closing remark, he went in. Broadcasting will forever be in his blood
Robert is kind of a a person that when he speaks you want to listen
So true... His voice, articulation and eloquence is something that draws your attention because you can hear ukuthi there is substance here.
We miss him in UEFA champions league commentary. Our greetings from Tanzania to Mr. Marawa.

My dad used to teach in Nkandla and he'd tell me stories about Marawa's dad's supermarket where he bought groceries.
Fort Louis Supermarket.

Woooooow wooooooow ❤️😍😍❤️😍😍
Robert Marawa is the goat I still remember his early days doing 'MtN soccerzone' around 1997
It was "World of Soccer" before "Soccerzone"
Panasonic world of soccer we still had Vaal professional

He thinks before he speak, he's Eloquent, commanding character 🔥👑 He's lovable ! What an interview
The respect Marawa has for Sol… watch this space big things are on the horizon for this guy.
He acknowledged his intelligence
Realised that too...he acknowledged his presence n input..we get that less frequently from other invited guests
Sol is amazing bro❤️😍❤️😍
I like this guy bra Rob, he's not scared to say anything. Like just how he said Mark Boucher and cricket SA won't win anything
Marawa is such a candid interviewee. It's cool that these Fired FM guys can speak openly about politics now that they have their own platform loading.
Can you imagine if they all came together and formed their own station, with each one specialising in their own field? Black Power at it's finest.
Which we can't wait for 🙌
Just got here Marawa is such a humble great guy.

I love how Robert acknowledged Sol in the interview 🙏🏾😩
Sol is one of a kind shame
I think Macg G should just take a Bird Flu sick leave for 3 episodes and let Sol do the show,he sounds mature and wise.
The depth in Rob is unfathomable!
Lets gather here for the Grootman, as long as they don't talk crap about him on Monday
That's their jam though soo they Mos Def will lol
I hope so too. MacG can be a lot sometimes ai

Yeah..I didn't like it when they talked about Fresh like they don't believe him even though he clearly answered all their questions.
Shuu, I used to listen to Marawa sports and I not even the biggest sport fan. Robert Marawa is an amazing sportscaster. Loved this interview.
Robert is a brave man. He ain't fear anyone. I'm very motivated by him saying. Those who hate him gave him strength and we have to thank them

I usually don't comment, but hey this is one of the best interviews I've listened to. Big up to Robert Marawa
Your opening statement is very unnecessary though! Your comment starts from 'This is one...' the rest is nuisance
A very well spoken person. Good to see how he is also comfortable with IsiZulu as well. 🔥🔥
Got more respect for Ta Marawa for speaking up.🔥🔥🔥

No bashing of Marawa on Monday please! What happened this passed Monday was not ayoba at all...
I went through the same ICU experience with Covid in June and I have never been so scared in my life. I'm so glad he has also survived this thing.
I respect Robert, he's a cool dude.
I miss hearing him talking sports on Radio 2000. He understands politics of sports. So much respect for this man...
This is the most legendary interview Mac G has ever make.
Even if the views may be less than the other ones.
But this one is gold.
